Nelson. Jack of all trades master of none, very durable, might not have been able to stick to a gameplan like Barrera did but has the right combination of balls and technical acumen to take Hamed to school. Bear in mind I’m talking about a peak Naz though, a far more creative one than Barrera faced.
Agreed with Philly. Nelson decision. He's got that mental fortitude that Hamed doesn't have, though as Flea said Hamed could be extremely creative, which is dangerous with power.
Not only am I certain that Nelson dispatches Hamed convincingly, I also believe prime Azumah beats any version of MAB as well.
Hard to pick. Nelson was a superb all round fighter. One of the finest African fighters ever who could just able do it all whereas Hamed was as unorthodox as they come, wildly exciting most of the time and other times just wild with crazy punching angles and genuine power in both hands. If I had to pick a winner, probably Nelson because he seems more adaptable in the ring and maybe stronger mentally but it could be a extremely exciting fight while it lasted if Hamed is in the mood.
Nelson batters Hamed in my view. Hamed had great power obviously but was too easy to hit and had holes all through his makeup. Nelson was too good a technician, too complete a fighter and a pretty vicious puncher himself. I reckon Azumah outboxes, floors on a couple of occasions and takes a clear and dominant UD over Hamed.
