    With Billy Joe Saunders

Surely he is taking a loss every time he fights ?

Anyone know how much hes paying Saunders ?

Lets say he got £200k for tonight

Saunders has a seemingly small fan base and doesnt sell out places, evidently. So how does Frank afford to pay the guy ?

don't the gypsies support their fighters?

fury and bjs are their only current superstars but both don't have much of a following.

Frank's doesn't care. As long as he's churning out fight cards in empty stadiums which deludes him into thinking he's putting on big shows, he'll carry on doing this.

As others have stated themselves, boxing fans don’t care about this ****.

But you do realise that in sport, in all types of business, it’s very commonplace and necessary at times to take a loss for the long term. If Saunders lands a unification fight or a fight against Canelo or Golovkin they’ll make multimillions.

Hearn took a loss on Bellew v Makabu. But think about how irrelevant that loss is after the long run which saw massive sell-out PPV fights against Haye and Usyk.

Saunders gained a world title tonight. If it is a loss financially, it’s a savvy move just because of that strap.

He is one of the best fighters we have in the country. I am sure Frank is pleased to have him.

BJS isn't someone the nation will root for but he's a top 3 draw from Frank's stable

Lol at people thinking Frank makes his money from boxing. He's an accountant remember I bet the books showed a tidy profit.

Which is why im asking what is going on because from the outside it makes no sense

People who were there last night said there were probably 3 to 4k tickets sold, so how can he pay Saunders a truck load of money ?

Who said Saunders got paid a truck load?

I think it’s Telling Saunders and others in QP stable signed with top rank. That’s where the money is going to come from, big fights in the US.

You cant generalise all boxing fans to not care about money thats silly

Equally thats factually incorrect based on the demand for money orientated questions on all boxing social media channels like IFL etc, all of them do it, they want to know the splits, how much this person is getting, how much their opponent is making, the amount of money the entire deal has been signed for etc etc. Boxing fans actually LOVE to know about the money side, it is one of the biggest talking points

Yeah i understand loss leaders, but Saunders NEVER seems to have big fights. The only fight where he would have turned a profit is potentially the Lemieux fight becuase he got a fat cheque from Goldenboy and Frank didnt have to do a thing and simply collect his %. Out of the rest of BJS fights, they have all been small shows, poor turn outs etc

So genuinely curious how Frank has maintained this for so long
