    You guys are nuts.

Breazeale is awful and has no chance.

I know people are dissatisfied about the outcome of the Fury/Wilder fight, but it's leading to some very odd conclusions.

Breazeale's size is going to work against him... big and lumbering + just as fundamentally sloppy isn't going to work. Straight right will end it.

With Wilder's chin it could probably happen, but Breazzele has to take some punches. That is the question

Wilder is awful too, have you ever seen him fight? Hell his own trainer, Mark Breland who was a great amateur said he was more advanced at nine years old than Wilder is today. And anyone with a punch can stop him as he was out on his feet against Old Man Ortiz.

So.... I guess that means Wilder will deserve a shitton of credit when he sends ***** Tits Breazeale's cranium sailing into the rafters then right?

And why are they sleeping on Breazeale per se? Because Wilder got outboxed by the P4P most skilled guy the Heavyweight division has seen in decades in Tyson Fury? And that because of that, a guy that was getting beaten up and schooled by Mansour, should have lost to Kassi and got a gift, was beaten senseless by Ugonoh before he gassed out from beating him senseless, Breazeale perhaps the most unskilled guy in the division, will be able to beat Deontay? What exactly will he able to bring what exactly to the table that Fury didn't? Something's not computing? Maybe its because I'm using logic here, not sure. Help me out you goon.

I'm picking Wilder to win but I'll play devil's advocate.

While Fury is technically miles and miles better than Breazeale, he doesn't have his punch. And Fury's gameplan didn't seem to be to try and take Wilder out. Of course that is because Fury didn't have to since his boxing skills are way better than Wilder's (and I agree with your P4P skillwise Heavyweight). I give Breazeale a shot because I think he is going to come in and try to knockout Wilder. Ortiz had Wilder out on his feet and I don't see a huge speed disparity between Breazeale and Ortiz (although I'll admit Ortiz is a better boxer). I do think Breazeale can get to Wilder's chin but it'll have to be early because the longer the fight goes, the more chance DB will eat a Wilder right hand and go to sleep. And I think that is what is going to happen.

I say that when you only have a puncher's chance you don't have much of a chance and I'll admit that is probably the case here. But I still think Breazeale can pull it off maybe 20-25% of the time (of course maybe he gets blown out and I'll look stupid, won't be the first time).

I don't think Breazeale hits all that hard to be honest, he's more of a wear you down type of guy. It shouldn't have taken him as long as it did to take out Molina or Negron. He's not got close to enough pop to one punch KO Wilder. On the other hand, the reverse is not true. Let's be honest, Breazeale has decent powers of recovery, but he can't take a punch.... AJ badly staggered Breazeale in the first, and had he really gone all out, he could have ended it there. Wilder will.

How do you rate Wilder's chin? He was hurt against Molina, hurt against Ortiz, and down against Sconiers. And TBH I don't think he's ever really been hit with a monster shot. I could be wrong but I don't think it takes much to hurt him. But now that I think about it, I am probably overrating Breazeale's power a bit. He's heavy-handed but definitely doesn't have Wilder's power (and his punches are wayyyyy slower).

I rate it as pretty solid, because I think Ortiz is a big puncher, a lot bigger than Breazeale, that's for sure. Fine, he couldn't stop Hammer, but neither could Povetkin, Wilder soaked up a fairly flush massive sustained flurry from him, and never went down. Quite frankly Fury probably hits harder than Breazeale as well. He stopped Hammer & Chisora on accumulation, and he was tagging Wilder with bombs neither of them took, Wilder never came close to going down. Wilder doesn't visibly react well, like Gvozdyk, but like Gvozdyk, his chin is solid enough to quickly recover and go back to work. As far as the Sconiers KD, who knows, it might have just been one of those fluke Jack-Edwards deals.
