Watch it again , Wilder popped his left hand . Breazeale rocked him back with a left right . Wilder needed to unleash that punch or else it would of gotten bad .

LOL. One taste of Wilder's power and Joey will go into survival mode like he did against AJ.

He got a new trainer for this fight, but I doubt one training camp wpuld be enough to seriously change years of bad habits.

most are bums tho... most of these HWs in the top 15 have **** all in the way of head movement or footwork besides Fury and to a lesser extent Povetkin and Parker. the division is a disgrace. I'd expect a mover with plenty pop to school wilder but so many of 'em either just plod or are straight up ass in the skills department to pull of a meaningful defence for 12 rounds.

the division really is screaming for a guy like Usyk. I just hope his size isn't too much of a liability for him.

Is it possible Wilder's handlers are trying to get him to 49-0 or 50-0 before taking on AJ?

Wilder fans are like Man Utd fans , they come out the woodwork when a good victory is on but silence every other time . Good victory for Wilder he needed that . Better not let this get to your heads , Wilder popped his left hand in the fight and needed it to be over before Breazeale settled in . Plus Breazeale rocked Wilder back .

I'm 99% sure Breazeale was paid to take a dive.

Yeh, that would be a pity if hand injuries or something similar played a part. I hope to see Wilder/Joshua happen when both are at their peak and not compromised by injuries.

Lol dude you had me until you brought up the size thing. Right then I knew you were some young casual fan. Usyk is 6'3 200 plus pounds. Which means he is just as tall if not taller than Joseph Parker who went 12 with Anthony Joshua. Usyk is bigger than that Russian guy who knocked out the 20 plus year old Wilder as a amateur and the Russian guy who sparked out AJ as a amateur. To be a heavyweight you just need to be 205 pounds. The biggest you get at heavyweight the slower you become. This is why so many of these guys now like Dominic Breazeale are so slow and unskilled.

Let's not get carried away, as impressive as Wilder's power is, he's still very amateurish & doesn't really seem to be improving. He would lose to each of the gentleman you mentioned.

Wilder covers the ring very quickly because he has fast legs and long arms. He's the only heavyweight like that. Brezeale was punching at a target 2-3 feet behind Wilder when he got knocked out.

These huge heavyweights react slowly and Wilder gets that right hand off very quickly. That right hand is the reason that Fury had second thoughts about getting back into the ring with Wilder.

I am pretty sure Wilder will call out Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield and old George Foreman. He loves to fight old men anyway. The sad thing would be these guys at their age would still be a step up for him.
