If Donaire peels Inoues wigg back it'll be poetic. Give the old dog credit, Donaire would've KO'd Rodriguez too. The finals are next, there's a Target on Inoue's back now. If Inoue wins he didn't clean the division bro
Yeah i hope inoue doesn't immediately move up as there's still burnett, tete, nery and oubali(although he may wait until after his brother fought oubali).
Tete, Burnett, and Oubali (sp?) do not see the 5th. I'm only interested in Nery at bantamweight and then it's time to conquer the next division.
The great Bazooka, Wilfredo Gomez. Now that would be a kill or be killed type of fight. Wilfredo was an ATG at the division.
Gomez was a super bantam. And Inoue, although he's great, its doubtful he can hang with a prime Gomez.
I think Inoue is a special talent, but the simple fact is, he hasn't even beat the best Bantamweights of today yet. I'll hold off until after he fights Donaire, Nery, Burnett etc. But so far....wow, just wow.
My mistake, i dunno why i remember him fighting at 118 lbs. I thought his fight with Zarate was at 118 lbs (Carlos was a longstanding bantamweight champion IIRC.) I also remember his failed attempt at FW glory in that ridiculous fight with Sanchez. As far as modern day fighters go, I think Rigondeaux could potentially beat Inoue. Guillermo looked like an animal at the lighter weights, and while his style could bore most, at times he'd flash his offense and show that he had very good power at that weight class. He looked awful against Loma but he moved up several weight classes against an elite P4P guy. Rigo from about 4 or 5 years ago would give Inoue major problems.
