This. Breazeale looked like a chalk outline. He was done.

Breazeale has always been a slow starter he simply got jumped on before he could get going.

Breazeale never got into the fight. Everyone knew he had to back Wilder up but instead he stood in front of him and allowed Wilder to get off first and threw very little back he just kept pawing out the jab and not really initiating any attacks, which was always going to end badly. Wilder is faster and if you allow him to set and throw like that you better be able to move out of the way like Fury but we all know Breazeale has slow feet and doesn't move much, he needed to be the one leading not the one waiting.

A better fighter would of seen the right hand coming. Wilder did his usual step move before throwing the right hand, Fury saw that coming a mile off every time Wilder tried it in their fight. Breazeale as is plain to see isn't Fury and didn't pick on on the big tell and so got caught.

A lot of better heavyweights wouldn't of gotten caught by it in the first place. Wilder did his usual tell of stepping in with the lead left foot, someone like Fury, Vitali, Lewis, Wlad etc would of read that and simply slipped away leaving Wilder hitting air.

But it was a vicious right hand, most people would of been KO'ed by that shot. Would of needed a McCall or Mercer level chin to walk through that.

While watching the knockout happen live, I thought he might've been able to beat the count as he started getting up around the count of 6.

But once I saw multiple replays of him finally getting to his feet (which at that point the fight was already waived off,) you can clearly see him staggering backwards. There was no way the referee would've allowed that fight to continue, regardless of the speed of the count. He was on very shaky legs at that point, and I can only imagine the kind of damage that would've incurred had it been allowed to continue.

You can also make a case the fight should've been waived off the moment his head hit the back of the canvas and he was sprawled out on the floor. It's always dangerous when the back of your head hits the mat that hard; it had shades of Alvarez-Khan to it.

This. When Breazeale dropped his left before throwing it you can tell that his coach isn’t very strict with him in the gym and let Breazeale get away with doing that, which is a shame, since that sloppy habit got him destroyed.

This fight reminded me of Pulev, who kept dropping his hands against Wlad and kept paying for it until Wlad knocked him out.

Breazeale didn’t beat the count and was out on his feet when he managed to stand up, Fury was good to go. I don’t think there’s any controversy there.

It had nothing to do with his coach . He could have been trained by any coach in history for this fight and the ending would be the same 100 out of 100 times. Brazeale sucks and that's all there is to it.

    He has good timing too

Yeah he is more than power but he can be hit as can Joshua and that is what makes Wilder v Joshua so intriguing and entirely 50/50

Hmm, Breazeale fought in the exact way that would ensure his destruction, throwing a slow sloppy uppercut from distance and leaving his chin completely exposed. It's the easiest way of losing the fight short of what Curtis Harper did.

Stop spazzing out you cuckolding clown. Replying to me twice is a sign that you are losing it. Dom is garbage, Gassiev knocks him out with no problem.

Joshua recovered well after a peach of a Wlad right hand, but how would he deal with a flush Wilder bomb detonated on his chin?
