I think I agree with this. He’ll be a lot harder to hit than Breazeale, but if he does get clipped with one of those it’s goodnight Vienna.

Wilder will finish AJ when he gets him in trouble and AJ is not getting up from that punch

If Wilder stops Joshua, Fury in the rematch and Whyte and goes to 50-0 how high up the ATG rankings will he be?

He doesn't really have a lot of miles on the clock. How many 12 rounders has he been in? How many wars has he been in? These are the things which eventually serve to slow fighters down

First he needs to do it. If he beats Fury again, AJ and then the up-and-comers of the division then that is an incredible career. Nevertheless, the dude is turning 34 years old in a few months so he absolutely must get the ball rolling right away.

all the HWs, and especially the champions can hit and beat up one another

wilder will need more than one punch to get rid of joshua... we all saw what happens when wilder is only thinkin about the one punch against fury... AJ can box and can outbox wilder

He lost to Fury and that fat clown is far from anything special and fury decides to play it safe I think wilder will lose the fight 12-0. I also think stiff british robot AJ will KO wilder without much problems. Wilder can’t box and so far “draw” with Fury is his best win, so I’m not sure if he should even be in ATG discussion .

The right hand that finished it was probably the best right hand Wilder has ever thrown, minimal loading up on it unlike in the Fury fight when he was cocking it massively before throwing it.

But having said that from the technical stand point it's still inferior to Wlad's or Joshua's right hand. Wilder still used then step in move with the lead foot which is a big tell that he's going to throw a big right hand. Fury would of never gotten caught by that shot last night he'd have been looking at Wilder feet and left Wilder hitting air.

He lost wide to Fury the first time around. However, if he fought him again and sparked him out and did the same to Joshua, Whyte, Usyk and one or two others then he is up there amongst the best imo

A loss on a fighters record isnt something that should kill this type of conversation off, particularly if they come back and beat the guy in the return leg convincingly. Lennox Lewis did this and it only enhanced his legacy. However, making out that he won a fight when he got a gift draw isnt something boxing fans should gloss over. Lets try and keep it real eh.

That's exactly what I was thinking, the KO was really odd. As soon Wilder started to throw a jab , before it landed, DB opened up to fire back. In the room where I was watching the fight, everyone was more confused as to what DB was doing rather than impressed at Wilders Ko, I even heard a few comments that DB threw the fight deliberately!

I am quite young and casual actually. lol. But still, I disagree. The modern trend has been the advantage to bigger fighters with power, length and speed - Lewis, the Klitschkos, Wilder, Joshua, Fury. Parker himself is a naturally bigger man than Usyk (plus, he didn't beat AJ, did he?). The idea isn't that it's impossible for Usyk, but he started his career campaigning at CW for a reason. Former CWs going into the HW ranks often have size issues - take Haye, Chambers and Cunningham in their respective fights against Wlad and Tyson for example. My point was the marked difference between him and modern reality of the taller (6'6 or above) and/or larger framed guys. The last, what, nearly 20-25 years of HW boxing has for the most part been dominated by exceptionally tall and/or big fighters weighing around the 240-250lb mark. Natural HWs. As skilled as Usyk is I think it's fair to say one the the biggest issues he'll face is how he'll withstand a champion level size discrepancy that he's not yet fully accustomed to. I'm not saying it's dead certain, just that I hope it won't be a liability. The WSB Joyce fight isn't a good counter argument if ur thinking to go there... Joyce puts sloths to shame and is a KO waiting to happen. I don't see how this isn't a fair assessment.

plus, wilder was a HW in the ams, which is basically less than a pro CW when counting a pro CWs fight night weight. Romanov will face size issues when he moves up the HW ranks being only 6 feet tall. I guarantee u that. Wilder on the other hand is 6'7 and filled out with power from another dimension.

I remember the same statements from Wilder fanatics when he knocked out Stiverne.
Let me remind you Wilder was offered $100 million, but he decided not to take it. Facts!!!

It was a great shot - and technically very sound - but let's have some perspective, he was taking aim at a static target. If a boxer can't hit a static target they have real issues. Maybe DB was still stunned from the previous right he ate and by the time the KO punch came along he was a rabbit in the headlights. And if that is the case, Wilder earned the opportunity.

Even when he floored Fury in the 12th round of their fight, Tyson was still able to use his legs to get out of trouble until his head cleared. Any boxer with decent movement would still prove an issue for Wilder. Luckily for him there's not too many of those about, so he's a live dog against any of them, including AJ who, while not as cumbersome as DB, is not light on his feet.

    But yeah... great shot.

It was a bit odd when Wilder said about Joshua fight, "You know the saying, all good things come to those who wait HAHAHAHA!" Just fight him for God's sake
