Takes a really brave and self confident guy to reject that kind of money. He really feels he can turn the $100 million offer to a $300-400 million offer.
Wilder would rather get 10 mil to fight Brazeale, then get 20 mil. I guess they do that kind of math down in Bama. Wilder doesn't deserve 60-40 with Joshua. He got a gift draw against Fury.
50/50 my arse. Wilder should really have a loss to Fury on his record right now. KOing a scrub doesn't all of a sudden make him have parity with the money man.
What really happened is that he got a draw and raised his profile substantially because the 12th round knockdown was a sporting moment of the year. He now has ko of the year, 2019. Your opinion is totally irrelevant to how the fight will be negotiated.
Bit of confusion over the deal offered. This from Dan rafael's account hasn't been denied by any of the parties: There weren't options, just the AJ wilder fights themselves and either the Breazeale mandatory or that and a second fight if wbc ordered one in between.
And AJ said he’d fight Wilder for $50M and they offered him what he asked for and he changed his mind and fought for less. What’s your point? Wilder will make more money for an AJ fight now than he would have made if he had signed earlier.
I believe so I’ve seen Bellator mma bouts before on Dazn not sure bout kickboxing I’ll check it out. I will say this Wilder believes in himself & how could he not with that Thunderstick Right? His team is handling him well business wise let him keep Koing Cans , build his profile up with casuals, if he keeps doing this eventually his popularity & boxing Worth will sky Rocket by the time they inevitably come to the deal. Business wise brilliant, terrible for us the fans see Mayweather vs PAC.
Where is the source of this information? Yes, ok, ok, and I have to believe what you say because.....
He got a gift draw, that most including himself thought he lost. Yes it was a nice KO. Not KO of the year though. I seem to have struck a nerve. Since when does any forum members conversation have any bearing on negotiations for a fight? Fact is that Joshua, is the money man at the moment. Wilder will never get parity.
I didn’t agree when he turned down the offer but I can almost assure with the casual interest soaring after this KO he’ll probably get offered more than $40 million for the AJ fight.. People I know who only knows May PAC and Canelo has been talking about this KO.. I also wouldn’t be surprised if DAZN charge a onetime fee of something like 35-40 the month of this fight
The money was real. All AJ had to say was ‘yes, I will do the fight for $50M guaranteed’ and it would have been a done deal, But AJ backpedaled and went and hid in a closet.
