After the AJ fight he won three straight, that alone makes him a better fighter. When he fought Izu, it was his nineteenth fight and Izu's eighteenth. Not much difference in experience. He was indeed a better fighter when he stepped in the ring with Wilder.

Of course. Why do you think no heavyweight has ever held all four major title belts?

Somehow I don't think Lewis would be that keen to work in Joshua's corner.

Difference is that nowadays losing has way more consequences on your career then 20 years ago.

I also don't think they are ducking in terms of scared to fight. It's all about posturing for best money deal

Wilder and AJ have to realise though, that if they lose in the meantime, their value not to mention their belts goes right down the plughole

And in the heavyweight division , anyone can in theory lose on the night against anyone in the Top 10.

You lose way more value then back then. Beeing unbeaten has such importance nowadays and is often valued over a solid resume with a few losses here and there. I mean lets get real a lot of guys lose to one guy and are then called leftovers and cab drivers.

I am very confident that wilder is going to ko aj. The only 2 ways to beat wilder is to 1. outbox him from long distance with fast sneaky shots and make him miss 2. counter him when he is overreaching and then maybe koeing him. Aj just really lacks the slickness and sharpness to do any of the 2.
He is a very good textbook boxer and solid on every department and that is going to be his downfall.

Wilder the truth ? Not so sure .It was a great win but that match up is always going to be whoever hits who first solid.

just like Fury will STILL be a 50/50 fight ( where were you trolls after that one ? )

    just different type of fights.

Truth? IDK, certainly an impressive win last night.

Very good post but Joshua shouldn't let Lewis anywhere near him. For multiple reasons, the biggest one is a reptile known as a snake.

Mike Tyson is more likely to end up in Joshua's corner than Wilders.
