Step back down in opposition, fight on for a few more years and maybe stumble upon another payday.

On one hand he did shake Wilder and was on the front foot when tagged, but he was badly hurt before being dropped. Overall best thing for him would be to walk away but I guess he'll take a long break and come back in some form, could still make some nice purses as a gatekeeper.

Not sure why he would yes he is not world level and he will never be a champ..

Got lucky to get two title shots and probs still has a good career gate keeping against young guys.

That shot he took against Wilder just shut out his lights he won't have any long term affects from it.. The guys who don't go down and keep taking punishment are the one who will get permanent damage..

His option is that he can still make a small fortune by being a selective gatekeeper. No need for him to get KTFO like that again.

He can fight guys like Hughie Fury, Charles Martin, Bryant Jennings, Dereck Chisora.
He can certainly fight the winner of David Price v David Allen.
Those are all reasonable fights. None of those guys are worthy of world title shots but those are reasonable fights for them all to earn some dough and maybe provide some second-rate boxing entertainment.

Nah, health wise, logic suggests it's probably best for all boxers to retire early!

Breazeale can be a decent gatekeeper for a few years if he wants, and you never know, down the line he might pick up a decent pay check off someone if he picks up a few wins. His career isn't finished, his aims and plans just need recalibrating is all. Happens to most boxers.

There's still plenty of good 50/50 fights he can be in. Whyte is one that would be a decent close fight.

That would be Usyk best win BY Far and actually a great win for him even right now.

He can't blitz him only Dw can do that, and breazeale could simply over whelm Usyk in the second half

    WTF, he never "shook" Dw.
I guess one sees whatever they want to see. The only thing DB did was take 4/5 clean shots and was hurt from everyone of them..

They came together and DB blocked Dw with his arms and his glove hit Dw in the face which did zero except have Dw reset to end him.

I guess every single half landed punch almost knocks out fighters that you hate on but your fav fighters never get hit, weird

Since Usyk Bailed on takem (LMMFAO) which was the easiest hw fight with a named hw.

He should go after DB, I know he got crushed by both top dogs but so would everyone.

Usyk could get relatively safe good hw rounds under his belt. Might have to last the distance to get the W, good fight for his first or even 2nd hw fight.

No way, I want to see how he stacks up against top 10 hws. Have him face Parker, Whyte, Miller post suspension, Kownacki, Pulev. That is the #1 problem with modern era HW division. Yes, we know where he stacks up against the very top of the division. But we have no real idea where he stacks up against the next level. And that lack of clarity clouds the entire division.

Brain damage isnt just about slurring your words. It can often cause severe and permanent personality changes, chronic depression and bipolar disorder, ect. Many lives have been ruined not because the guys motor functions have diminished but because his altered state of behavior led to the combustion of his family and finances.

For someone like Breaz whose entire career is going to consist of racking up a few mediocre wins so that he can get knocked out in a big fight... a guy whose defense is practically non existent and takes more punches relative to his peers, I think he's a fool to continue in the sport and he's asking for life changing problems... all for the sake of... what... not getting a different job?

    Beyond foolish imo.
