To be fair to Len, his antics at the weigh-in and his post fight interview stating that it was an easy fight really would irritate people.

That was not an easy fight although he did stick in a cracking performance.

The comments after it from him saying it was an easy fight was very poor form from Taylor and also blatant nonsense.

It's this"spiteful' trait that all his fans seem to love. I know it's not a tickling contest in there but he seems a bit too gleeful about beating guys up for my liking. I think he will meet his match with prograis though. Very impressive boxer Josh ...good chin etc...but I think prograis is too good for him! He certainly can't fight prograis like he fought last night, that's for

Prograis in any case is a better boxer on all fronts. He should best that arrogant lippy git JT easily enough. Wide UD or late
stoppage. No shame in losing to RP.....he is very good.

Started off nip and tuck even after 4. Once Taylor hurt him and had the measure of him I think he started to walk down the shorter boxer. Taylor to win the final

Taylor vs Prograis is a belter of a fight and it's a 50/50 fight for me, but one thing I will say for Taylor is that we know he can dig deep and come through a gruelling, hard fight, take some punishment and come out on top. He's shown that in the Postol and Baranchyk fights. Still yet to see how Prograis handles himself in that sort of a fight.

If Taylor is at his best he can do it but it is a hard fight. I wonder if he is toiling to make the weight because he was fighting in bursts last night more than usual.
With wbss who knows where it will be held though but wouldnt fit what they have done before if we had jt here for all 3 fights...

Actually prograis did have a fight where...like jT.... he got involved too much and got hit a lot. He did come through to win. Can't remember the opponent.

Fair dos, I haven't saw a lot of his earlier fights, and I expected them mostly to be your average building fights against dumplings and journeymen etc.

I thought Taylor looked huge last night for 140lbs.

That's a very bold statement. I'm a big fan of both of them, I think they're both excellent fighters, I don't think either can win easily.

I strongly fancy Prograis to win and win well. The bookies side with Prograis too.

    Prograis 8/15
    Taylor 6/4

I thought Taylor looked very beatable last night against a man who wasn't a riddle and with the upmost respect isn't anything special, Taylor found that tough, very tough and I thought he looked rattled several times.

The big difference will hopefully be the referee, Howard Foster was at his bias best last night, Taylor hit low at least 4 times before old Howard gave him a very gentle warning, didn't even stop the action just waved at Taylor to keep them up and ignored every low blow afterwards.

One of the best bits of refereeing last night was when Taylor rushed in head first, caught Baranchyk with his head and Foster warned Taylor to watch the heads while he was actually BEHIND Taylor and Taylor has his back to him.. but Taylor was on the attack and Baranchyk was on the ropes so old Howard didn't want to stop the hometown favourite while he was on top.

Anyway, it should be a good fight though and Taylor already started the word of words in the ring after the fight when they came face to face.

It's mad to think where Taylor is after just 15 pro fights, both jab had fantastic careers to date.

Taylor will have to be at 100% to win this one, but so will Prograis. 1 lapse in concentration from either and it could be fight changing. cannot wait for this

I commented on a previous thread about Prograis – he was excellent against Flanagan and really impressed me with how he controlled the fight, understanding of range, size and power. However, contrary to general consensus I wasn’t overly sold on the Relikh fight. Without doing a disservice to Relikh I don’t think he had anything in his arsenal to worry Regis and it showed. However, I thought there were some flaws in Regis’ performance. When he had Relikh hurt in the first and second I thought he was ragged chasing him around the ring. He was falling over himself and I am not sure how well he moves forward when he it’s simply holding the centre of the ring. Secondly, as much as he dominated the fight I thought he looked sloppy on the inside at times and this is really an area Taylor can expose. At close range, Taylor really delivers short, sharp shots and I think these will land quicker than Prograis slightly wider (but more explosive) power shots. Its only minor things but I am not convinced how well schooled Prograis is and how flexible he can be. Taylor will pose dilemmas that Prograis hasn’t seen before and Josh has shown an ability to change up when faced with problems himself (Postol, Baranchyk & even Davies to an extent).

I expect Prograis to win the early rounds behind the jab with backhands and Taylor to start coming into to it from early-middle rounds. I wouldn’t be surprised if he stop Prograis late.
