Let's face it. Wilder is the greatest heavyweight of all time. His right hand bails him out every time. And touches every heavyweight legend. No?

Tyson, Lewis, Holyfield, Holmes, Ali, Frazier, Klitschko, etc...all get iced by Wilder's big right hand.

It doesn't matter how much skill any of these legends had, all it takes is one BIG right to connect, that's it.

    Discuss. Lol

Well sure but who's to say they dont get to him first or he isnt able to land? Or if he does land some guys can take big punch and go the distance.

Well i was saying Anthony Joshua and after Saturday night im still saying Anthony Joshua. Im not denying Wilder or his power or his standing in the division but Anthony Joshua is better than him. Wilder lands a shot on AJ like he landed on Breazeale then Joshua is in a world of trouble. The power is insane.

Salty is definitely not the right word to describe me, however you are so sweet for Wilder that it impedes your ability to read properly.
I've already said that Wilder is the stronger puncher. Like twice. Like while replying to you. And yet you still bring that up.
And while I believe Breazeale was becoming worse since fighting AJ, Wilder performance against him is still better. I was really impressed in the fashion he dealt with Dominic. Wilder is definitely dangerous, could KO anybody and is exciting to watch.

The difference between us is I don't let my emotions carry me away. Saying he will do the same thing to anyone in the division is just silly talk, really silly. He didn't KO Stiverne (second fight doesn't count) and Fury. His KO % is same as Joshua's while fighting worse opposition. You seem to think he's some sort of demigod, well maybe you should watch his previous fights because that certainly is not the case. He needed like 9rd to KO Molina (got hurt while doing it) and AJ did it in 3. Also Wilder landed more punches - well there is only one explanation right? Right?
    ffs use some logic

I don’t think there is a clear cut answer for why this happens to their guts. However, HGH and insulin are two substances which they believe can cause this especially for bodybuilders. I think it can happen through natural means, if the person is very naturally lean and they quickly transition to a high calorie diet to bulk.

The reason I suspect Aj is the dramatic growth in muscle mass whilst looking even more lean, we also found out Aj had a T.U.E and im inclined to believe miller since Aj didn’t disagree or sue miller when he said it. Now Aj has been shedding weight, but he looks less chiselled than before, it could be due to not doing as much resistance training but even then he should be more chiselled because he will most likely have his nutrition in check.

lol.. You just contradicted almost every post and every thread you made on here simply because you had no other way of dealing with the fact of James Tony being top 5 at HW was indictment of the sad state the division was at the time.

You are the guy that says Povetkin was too small to be a HW and any HW under 6'4 is not good enough to be competitive in this modern era.

News flash dummy , James Tony was 5'10 with a 72 inch reach. Prime and in shape he is a MIDDLEWEIGHT.

An old , past prime and chronically out of shape Toney was competitive at HW since it was filled with non athletic plodders and shot old timers from the previous era.

There are no cruisers , past primers or old slow moving sloths in the top 10 today. As good as Toney was in his prime , he was not a HW and would get ground down by all the top guys around today.

He took advantage of a weak era much like Roy Jones took advantage of a weak titlest in Ruiz.
I wouldn't Jones Jr to beat Whtye let alone the big 3.
Thats no disrespect to Jones Jr , he simply was not a HW , just like James Toney.

This era >>multiple levels >> last era.

The era you say was so much better had Chris Arroela ranked in the top 10 for SIX years straight.. haha!

Right so you had a pop at me for using a Boxrec ranking (which I even made clear was spongy) but you refer me to a thread you made as evidence or answers?

I'll ask you again.. what are Izu and Negrons best wins?

You can’t fault Dom for screwing up Izu’s career. Dom was supposed be Izu’s stepping stone to a title shot and Dom really damaged him.

Boxing does not come down to Resume A vs. Resume B.

Negron wasn’t as good as Izu, but it was a nice reminder that Dom can outlast a decent opponent.

This is half decent when other contenders sit around doing nothing until they get a title shot.

dude knocks another guy out in one punch and all of a sudden he's the hardest hitter of all time and would beat everybody. on twitter and on boxing sites its like 1 punch knockouts have never happened in the heavyweight division.

it's like a bizarro world out there.

There's literally nothing that is better about this era than the last. Irrespective of how much you keep repeating this to yourself! As I've already stated, Dillian Whyte, a guy who couldn't throw more than a 2 punch combo to save his life without losing his balance or move swiftly whilst maintaining any coordination is a top 10 heavy. Not a good sign! Then we have a washed up midget Takam who is a top 10 heavy. Then we have a washed up Povetkin who is a top 10 heavy. Then we have Deontay Wilder, today's champion who's best win is an untested dude with high blood pressure.

Go ahead and convince us how this era is any better. I challenge you! So far, you're yet to make any convincing argument, despite your long winded waffle.

Stop using straw-mans. I didn't claim any era was better than another. That's your made up self-invented position. My position is pretty simple, which is that nothing suggests this era is any better than the previous one.

I'll Give you someone like Tyson fury, but James Toney would wipe the floor with guys like Andy Ruiz Jr, washed up Carlos Takam, probably even Povetkin and especially Dillian Whyte. These are top 10 heavyweights today. James Toney is leagues ahead of these guys. You've got no grounds to stand on, to claim James Toney wouldn't be a top 10 heavyweight today, when these mentioned guys, who are similar in size as Toney, are today.

And no, James Toney doesn't need to be in his prime to beat these scrubs.

Also, please stop overrating Dillian Whyte. The guy is as uncoordinated, nonathletic, slow, wild and sloppy as they could ever come. If you think James Toney isn't capable of beating someone like that, then you're an insult to boxing. PLAIN AND SIMPLE! James Toney would do to Whyte, no less than what he did to Vassily Jirov. An argument can be made Toney would do even better against Whyte, and would probably stop him, because unlike Jirov, who had good stamina to last 12 rounds, Whyte's stamina sucks.

Whyte is a guy who literally needed 21 rounds to finally KO an old, washed up Dereck Chisora. Guess what? Prime David Haye KO'ed a prime Dereck Chisora in just 5 rounds. So wrap your head around that, genius. If this era was so superior, then how could that be possible?

Funny how you also use Arreola as an example to degrade an era. Yet, a washed up Arreola, way past his prime, lasted much longer and performed much better against a prime Deontay Wilder, than today's top heavyweight Dominic Breazeale who is in his prime did. So again, how about you address these few glaring evidences that debunks your stupidity about this era being supposedly superior?

Chris Arreola and James Toney would be top 10 heavyweights today, if scrubs like washed up Carlos Takam, Alexander Povetkin, Dillian Whyte and Andy Ruiz Jr are.

Because your level of questioning suggests you know little about boxing or are new to the sport, I'll treat you as such. Correct me if I'm wrong. No offense intended.

Way back in 2014, a match occurred between a guy who was 1-1 and another totally unproven fighter who had beaten 15 or 20 guys who none of us can remember. Interestingly, this fight was regarded as one of the highest level fights possible in boxing going into the match, and five years later that sentiment has only been strengthened.

Thus, it is safe to say there are times when the quality of a boxer cannot accurately be assessed by reading a list of their record or numerical ranking on Boxrec.com.

I agree the comparison is irrelevant. I don't think that type of comparison tells us much, styles make fights, too may variables. I don't think much of either Ruiz or Kownacki and think they should have fought each other before challenging for a title but I think Kownacki is better than Ruiz. But even though Wilder is the worst boxer among Joshua, Tyson and Wilder, I think Wilders power and speed plus Joshua's questionable chin ( i know I saw Ortiz too! ) equates to a devastating Ko for Wilder. The way Joshua was getting hit with lead rights from Wlad is worrying. Trust me, I'm no super fan of Wilder, in fact I was a detractor of his for a while, he was too protected on the way up, but that's how I see it.
