He either wins or loses depending if his opponent can actually box a UD following 12 boring rounds of high guard non-action. Should retire.
It’s interesting that MTK are hoovering up a lot of the washed up / going nowhere fighters and sticking them on their own shows instead of Hearn/ Warren undercards - Hosea Burton, Martin Murray, Fielding, Burnett (I might be slightly harsh here, but I’m not a fan) Ohara Davies etc
Might get tickets if they’re not a rip off. Just for the simple reason of it being at the Olympia. Last time I went was for Price Dallas! I like Murray but he will send me to sleep. He’s so slow and refuses to ever have a proper go anymore.
Murray has been done at a useful level for a while now. He'll likely get upset by someone below British level in the next year or so.
MTK are making decent moves IMO. They’ve got hundreds of fighters signed but now instead of putting them on other people’s shows they’re putting them on their own. Don’t get me wrong a lot of them are sort of “washed up” but they’re names and they’ll sell, which I assume will help them sign better, younger talent and put on better shows in future.
Hopefully they can because as much as i like Hearn , I don’t think he’s interested in the U.K. market.
I like MTK, they put on decent shows and they have got some good fighters. ..Martin Murray is past his best now, but he is still a good test for any fighter out there. Ive always supported him and I won't stop now.
I think MTK will do a deal with Sky soon, they have plenty of fighters to out on good shows with Sky providing the increase in production value of the shows
Sky wont do anything, they know for them to keep the streaming apps at bay they need to keep the vast majority of the premier league. Thats all they care about. They have a very rocky 5 to 10 years ahead.
I like Martin but he’s one of the most boring fighters to watch. As someone mentioned on here, he Just shells up for twelve rounds.
This is it Its a decent strategy Get a few names the casual market knows from bigger shows Draw a few more through the door and position themselves ready for a TV deal By that time push through the numerous young talent they have on their books who should catch the eye of the punter that paid to see the bigger name
The big issue they will have in getting a big UK TV deal is some of the people connected to the company. Hardly the PR the likes of Sky want.
