    So which world class fighters did Breazle beat, because they were smaller than him, or simply on the decline?

    Grant was head and shoulders above Breazeale imo

    They both could, yes. Dominic is a slow, big, wide open guy. Most likely it'd take more than one round due to 1st round blitzes being fairly rare once you get to the championship level, but eitherway I'd strongly favor Louis and Foreman to end the fight early.

    If Carnera and Loughran were the same size , do you think Primo would have won?

    A big strong ex football player with some ponderous power and a ton of heart,but slow as hell ,with little skills, and lacking any semblance of defence, or head movement.Tailor made for Wilder really.

    No I don't, but Carnera did beat the best available opponents, who were of similar size to him.

    In that sense it wasn't necessarily just his size that made him successful.

    Yes , Spinks , Patterson , and Schmeling LOOKED like professional fighters.
