It's actually dangerous to put an over the hill middleweight in with a cruiser weight. Shame on all concerned. Shame on Smith personally.

Smith if motivated will knock N'Dam out early, if he is not motivated he will win wide on points. WBA should not have sanctioned fight imo. I think N'Dam would have been a good fight for Fielding but not Smith. Looking at rankings, it he should be fighting John Ryder in the UK instead of N'Dam in the US.

Does Hearn just not like Callum Smith?

I think they couldn’t announce it because N’Dam wasn’t in the WBA Super Middleweight rankings. After a bit of wheeling and dealing N’Dam appeared number 13 (without fighting for 6 months).

Not the best opponent but if you are using the last fight as a yard stick you could argue it’s credible. They announced Murray v Saunders last year for WBO Middleweight so is Smith v N’Dam at a slightly higher weight class significantly any different?

Good post. Agree Saunders v this version of Murray, but that was a bad match up too. At least both were a genuinely the same weight class.

Seriously this is a disgrace. Shame on Callum Smith. Ndam could get seriously hurt.

Joshua beating up a little fat boy plus a set of really pish match ups like us. Maybe Katie Taylor will save the evening.

This card is worthy of the York Hall.

It shouldn't be ppv that's for sure. Personally I am looking forward to the Coyle and Taylor fights but they could go on a normal Saturday night show together. I wont be paying to watch this .

Smith is out of the ring a while so I don't mind a soft fight. However, it adds little value to the PPV.

Hearns normal Saturday night cards have all been pretty abysmal recently and his ppvs gash too with fights like this. Needs to up his game big time
