Not great numbers, Wilder/Ortiz did better numbers and also drew a higher live attendance though many of the tickets for the Ortiz fight were complimentary. Pretty clear Wilder's ability to draw hasn't improved since the Fury fight, he's still the clear B side. If some of the reports are to be believed Showtime paid a fortune to Wilder for this fight, they will very be likely losing money on every Wilder fight hoping to recoup it later when Wilder/Joshua do eventually fight.
I've heard 15-20 million. They had to up the ante to keep him, and apparently are good with the massive loss this entails in the hopes it keeps them in boxing and in the hopes an eventual AJ Wilder fight makes it worthwhile.
Probably same reason why the Harold Sconiers video has been permanently scrubbed off Youtube by Wilder's team.
Never does 1 million buys right now. 1 million view in for wilder for free then you think the same number do it for 80 dollars or so? Said it before , 500-600 right now as AJ isn’t a US draw either. The fight never ever does anywhere close to 2 million buys let alone 3-4.
