Wilder only pnches Harder thaN Julian Jackson because he is 6‘7 and he puNChes down on opponents.

Simple physics, if Julian Jackson trained with me, he would have never punched against GraVity, But what do i know ???

Not disagreeing with you but I always thought punching down was harder which is why AJ struggled with Takam after training for Pulev.
Thinking about it though those Fury knockdowns were caused by him punching down.Imo if Fury stays tall and doesn't duck down he'd survive the rematch on his feet.

 

It is odd as you have Canelo who for some reason gets touted as a power punches and if you mention this it's because of his opposition and Wilder only ever knocks out bums despite doing it to Ortiz and came within a second of doing Fury.
I've weighed in on Wilder as much as anyone but I'm still able to be subjective about him and imo knocking folk out like he does is a skill,if it wasn't they would all be doing it.
I even think these types will still have a go if he beats Joshua,ten to one Joshua will be a bum?

 

Course and it's supposed to be but you can't deny he has a talent to be able to drop folk at any stage in the fight and even when he's down on the cards which is mentally difficult to pull off.

 

Give me 10 bums & 10 good fighters and I am sure the 10 good fighters will be more durable on average than the bums. Higher level of heart, conditioning, level of sparring etc comes with a higher calibre fighter.

 

DeGale can testify that these durable less skilled guys can still take your zero if you have a bad night.

Maybe some need educating about pro boxing,the best are the best because they beat those they are favourite to beat as suppose to the rest that can't do this.

Agreed. It's still not easy or normal to consistently one punch KO scrubs. The best guys Wilder has fought arent even close to being scrubs as well, that's insulting. He floored Fury who is better than anyone Jackson KOd and sparked out Ortiz who is a top level heavyweight even if he is 50. He's got skills. The rest of his recent fights have been against decent but not top level guys and he's KOd them hard.

Even if they where total scrubs, the guys boxers face in there first couple of fights, how many boxers consistently knock them out in the style Wilder does to his opposition. I can't think of any pros I've followed who did. Loads stop get stoppages throughout most of there early career, not many knock them out so brutally. Joshua didn't KO the scrubs he fought in his early fights anywhere near as brutally. He has fuddling power not one shot knock you the **** out explosive power. Wilder has absolutely brutal power and is one of the hardest hitting heavies ever even though he's a one trick pony. Foreman, Tyson and Wlad are the only that come to mind that had comparable power. Foreman the only one I'd put above him.

Jackson takes this, but then he's the p4p hardest hitting fighter ever imo. He had a much better punch selection and a far higher skillset to deliver the punches and had insane power in both hands. Wilder still hits ****ing hard and is up there with the hardest hitters ever.

Point still stands, the brutality of Wilders KOs isn't normal even if you only fought club level guys. Stoppage, sure. Consistent 1 punch KOs no way.

 

Today P4P only Inoue is debatably a harder puncher. He's my current p4p #1 both in terms of power and boxing.
