The size difference is too big. It’s not safe. Fights like this should not be allowed. We don’t need another tragedy.
I would have expected a worse opponent than N’dam to be fair, especially at this pathetically late notice for a card that’s been “taking shape” for months now.
Groves and Skoglund are the only two on Smiths resume better N'Dam. Fielding is the next best after N'Dam.
I think N'Dam is decent, that's why I don't get the outrage. Yes he's smaller, but everyone else is too!
I think Fielding and Rebrasse are better at SMW, especially in relevance to were Smith was in his career for those fights compared to were he is now.
I'm not disputing that but they are fighting at the same weight division. You cant blame Smith for taking easy money. The promoter, N'Dams management and WBA are to blame for this.
Despite not fighting at the weight, N'Dam crept into their top 15 rankings at the most recent update. Right around the time Smith started looking for a fight. Make of that what you will.
What if he seriously injures ndam..,...will the easy money that you can't blame him for taking be worth ndams life? Don't say it can't happen. Look at Watson, McClellan, Blackwell etc etc.
