He hasn’t done anything that bad but he’s also not done anything that good. Kovalev was amazing last time out and is a proven world class fighter.
Kovalev is heavy favourite but he can’t take it to the body. I believe he’s been worn down and Yarde is catching him at the ideal time. All depends on how Yarde can take a shot and whether his power can carry through to the elite level. I’ll be putting a little dough on Yarde by KO.
Yarde has got a chance. I won’t complete rule him out because it’s clear he can punch and we’ve seen Kov go against Alvarez and although not convincingly but against Ward too. The bookies have it priced up about right. 4/11 and 2/1
As deep as some tongues are around Yarde . This fight won’t happen it’s BS in my opinion to get people off Yardes back. It’s like a team playing conference footy and then going straight in with Barcelona!
I have changed my mind of late and I will be sticking money on Yarde by KO around the 6th round. Tunde is abit of a clown, Yarde’s matchmaking hasnt been great, but as I’ve said from day one, this kid is a special talent and he has Power in both fists to get the job done. Kovalev is getting on in age and he has been broken up to the body already and brutally banged out by Alvarez recently. It really shouldn’t be the biggest shock of all time, but for the guys on here who seem so desperate for Yarde to be a fake , they will feel like it is..sad really. He’s a Brit, why not just wish him all the best...
Since March 25th they have been in “deep negotiations” That is 2 months of deep negotiations. ....And still no official announcement or posting of this fight on boxrec. I think we can call this one a day
Well actually, Warren and co have been saying for the last 2 weeks or so that the fight is signed, but it’s down to the promoters to announce it....it’s really not hard to understand mate.
