Wlad is more disciplined and risk averse. If he threw all that out the window like Wilder does (or Shavers did), I'm sure Wlad's power would be equivalent. The question remains, who exactly has Wilder KO'd? A fat Stiverne (who previously lasted the distance) and an ancient Ortiz are his best pelts. Wilder still seems rather untested and certainly vulnerable. His biggest test, against a fat, recovering cokehead who didn't look particularly good in his comeback bouts, ended in a draw.

Sirenko would put a beating on Mahkoduv .

You seem to.not understand losing to the top 2/3 guys doesn't mean you lose your punching power and you must have a very thin understanding of what doesn't warrants one ,and it's not a 90% one. Lol

No one has ever seen that kind of power,
Dude is 6'7" with the craziest snap on those right hand Bombs.

He has started to develop real timing which will spell the end of the hw division..

Line them up and Dw be knocking them down and it's never going to take him 12 rounds to time anyone..

Fury got up because that was a dead tired and completely exhausted Dw. Dw takes fury out within 8 in any rematch, ever.

Not expecting fury to change his mind and sign on to get KTFO.. And we don't have any top HW that will spend all their energy making sure they don't engage, not how one wins anything

Lol the moment somebody mentions Rocky Marciano when they talk about heavyweight punching power you know they don't know what they are talking about. Marciano was a 180 pound fighter no a modern sized heavyweight. Jack Dempsey was a 190 pound club fighter who knocked out tomato cans in the 1920s. Stop trying to compare these people to modern skilled and modern sized heavyweights.

Also various guys in the heavyweight division had tons of knockouts fighting club fighters and old men. Tye Fields for example has a higher knockout percentage than Lennox Lewis. So I guess he punches harder right? Wilder has yet to knockout anybody worth mentioning.

Wilder doesn't even hit harder than guys like Bermaine Stiverne. You might say but he has more knockouts right? Stiverne has a lot fewer fights and is old as hell now. But according to Chris Arreola a guy who fought both Stiverne and Wilder he stated Stiverne punches harder. Also Stiverne actually knocked out Chris while Wilder had to have the corner stop it.

He has timing and speed but as far as raw power he's overrated. Breazeale was already hurt when knocked down but HE GOT UP, so did Fury and recovered fine. Contrast with the one shot that Wlad landed on Eddie Chambers. The dude was out for several minutes.

I used to feel that his power was SLIGHTLY over-rated, as his biggest KO’s came from him launching himself at his opponents with his entire body weight behind it. Spectacular, yes - but not the kind of thing you are going to get away with at the top level, so more exhibition style punching.

However, the Breazeale knockout was his cleanest by far. He landed that one in a classic boxing stance (well, as close as it gets with a Wilder) and did it with great timing and generating all the torque from the ground and hips up. And the power was very real. His most impressive KO in my mind without a doubt, and displaying legit power without needing a big run-up!

Foreman is weird. Hes always upping modern fighters at the expense of himself and his era. Yet its always so over the top it just comes off... idk... weird, lol.

Actually George Foreman said Ron Lyle hit him the hardest. Nice try though. He just said Cooney hit him hard. But George Foreman does say all types of nice stuff now that you know he doesn't believe.

Interesting. To me, the Breaz KO was almost a textbook 'run up' knockout. Wilder set that up with the momentum of his walk up from the break, from feet away.
