There is no title called 'The man'... Thurman is the recognized WW World Champ whether you want it or not. And if you need to boxrec it, he also has the better resume out of the other top WW's, excluding Pac.

Pac beating Thurman would be very big at this stage.

Thurman himself is saying that Pac is too small, too slow, and too old to win. Dude actually said T-Rex arms when dissing Pac.

Even if Manny wasn't 40 y/o and way past his prime a win over the #1 welterweight in the world Keith ''One Time'' Thurman is a way better than Crawford's win over a Khan (or any win of Crawford's) who hadn't fought anyone world class in 3 years, hadn't beaten a world class opponent in 4 years, had only seen 39 seconds more ring time in three years than One Time has in two, and who went life and death with and was dropped heavily by a glorified journeyman who had a KO 32% in his previous fight. But when you factor in Manny's age and the size difference (One Time will be much heavier than him on fight night, a bigger weight advantage than Spence had over Mikey and muscle, not fat like with Fury), well that just makes it even more impressive.

It will also be better than Donkey Wilder fighting to a draw (granted Fury was robbed blind) against a Tyson Fury who literally hadn't fought anyone with a pulse in 3 years (those 2 exhibition fights against bums weren't even semi-decent sparring), had been completely inactive for 2.5 years, spending the duration of his 2.5 years of inactivity abusing the hell out of his body with industrial amounts of coke, booze (he was drinking like a fish - 16 pints a day just to warm him up for the spirits), and junk food, having to shed 140lbs of blubber after ballooning up to 400lbs, and battling chronic depression and suicidal thoughts all throughout that time too.

I think Manny beating One Time at this stage of his career>>Spence's win over a Brook who was coming off a stoppage loss, a bad beating, a nasty eye injury and gruesome surgery to repair it, and back down from 160 after bulking up to fight up there, and let's not forget the vicious head clash in round 8 of Brook vs Spence which caused Brook's non-good boy'd eye to swell up to the size of an onion and that had a big impact on both Brook and the fight as all the psychological trauma he endured after GGG good boy'd his other eye (not knowing if he'd even be able to see properly out of it after the gruesome surgery, let alone continue with his career) would've immediately come back to haunt him after the eye went. ''Oh no.. please don't tell me I have to go through all of that hell again''

Where would you rank a Thurman win on Pac's resume?

I don't know I'd have to give it a little thought. Lower half of the top 10 probably

He’s not the recognized champ. He’s the guy who sat out while Crawford and Spence cleaned and continue to clean house. And you didn’t watch his last fight.

Craw and Spence cleaned house? Crawford beating Khan and Spence beating Peterson and Mikey is cleaning house?

Thurman was injured. He wasn't sitting around twiddling his thumbs FFS...

Go start a poll asking if Thurman is “the man” at 147. See how that turns out.

Tell myself there's no title called 'The Man'? Ok... So much for your 'cleaning house' theory though... Just wave your white flag already. You've said nothing of substance.

The only things you’ve proven are that you’re upset and never watched Thurman’s last fight.

Thurman's got Danny and Shawn on his resume. His resume poops all over Crawford and Spence's. Whether you recognize him as the man of the division is irrelevant. He's undefeated and got the best resume of any WW not named Pac.
