This content is protected "As far as the big fights are concerned, I don't see none of them happening this year. 2020’s gonna be a full year and it’s gonna be an exciting year, not only for us as fighters but for boxing fans around the world," Wilder told Fox Sports. Lol so he's categorically ruled out fighting AJ this year without even trying to make the fight. Pretty much confirming Winnie Pooh Kownacki and Grandpa Ortiz fights lined up.
AJ currently has the strongest and deepest resume in the HW divison. Look at his rivals: Wilder who has likes of Breazeale, Duhapas, Stiverne, and Arreola in his top 5 wins. Fury who has the likes of Hammer and Cunningham in his top 5 victories. Compare to that AJ whose top 5 wins in Wlad, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker and Takam (most likely soon to be Ruiz)..
So are you seriously clamining the top 5 wins of Wilder (Ortiz, Duhaupas, Breazeale, Stiverne, Arreola) or Fury top 5 wins ( Wlad, Chisora x 2, Cunningham and K.Johnson) or Whyte ( Parker, Chisora x 2, Helenius and Allen) are better than AJ's (Wlad, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker and Takam)?
I haven't argued anything about top 5 against who, just the fact that you include Wlad on Joshua's in your initial post but not Tyson's win against Wlad. I mean, common, "one guys worst top 5, compare to this guys best top 5" screams agenda.
It was showing the low level opponents included in their top 5 wins which and stated AJ's while top 5 becauae he doesn't have a poor opponent in it. Looking at all the top 5 wins it clearly shows AJ has the strongest resume in the dvision and that he hasnt been fighting "lamed ducks" which was the point I was making.
Just when the heavyweight division was rekindling my waning interest for boxing, it pretty much kills it again by being so... well... boxing'ish. How fitting.
