Joe is moving along at a good pace – great to see. I see Jennings outboxing him for the first 4 or 5 rounds, before Joe’s pressure and relentlessness begins to take toll and he takes over from there. See him stopping Jennings.
Joe has to move on at a good pace he is getting old.. If he is any good he should get rid of Jennings mid rounds..
Good fight this..Bryant is a decent fighter and will be another good win for Joyce when he stops him in 6.
Thats on the Dubois-Gorman undercard. With a few more good fights this could be a better card than the Whyte PPV. Id say as a support fight , its better than Price vs Allen as Jennings is in the prime of his career and has more pro experience than Joyce. He was almost shutting Rivas until the late rounds when he got caught. Its a statement from Joyce if he juggernauts through Jennings.
One or two fights like this and then a shot at real top ten fighters. Jennings should give us a good idea of where Joyce is, he has never been steamrolled without winning rounds, is game and comes to win. That being said he is a little on the chinny side, does not have elite power, and usually finds a way to come up short in his biggest fights. If Joyce is a legit threat I expect him to stop Jennings in the second half of the fight.
Unlike some of these other HWs in this hideous era of Herman Munster-esque wooden or uncoordinated unskilled behemoth bums who took up the sport late after transitioning from other sports, Jennings actually has some decent skills and boxing ability for a late starter and he'll have some success against JJJ and be able to find the gaps in his defence and land some nice shots. However, I think The Juggernaut's size, strength pressure and power will be the deciding factor and he'll get him out of there by the halfway point.
