Wow this is a good fight if it’s happening. Better than Duhaupas fight imo, if Yoka wins this he deserves serious credit, at least enough that people on this thread stop calling him a glass-fraud. I’d argue that Joyce hasn’t faced better opposition as of right now(that’ll change if he fights Jennings) and this is Yoka’s 6th fight.

I am French and at home, there is a strong expectation for Duhaupas vs Yoka at the end of the year. Yoka should beat Spong without much trouble.
If Spong wins this were would he rank among K-1 crossovers to boxing(particularly HW)? Not sure he'd top Skelton who carved out a damn solid and lengthy career all things considered. But Ustinov he'd probably surpass with that win alone.
I think he would rank high, but are we forgetting Dillian Whyte who was k-1 euro level and look how far he has come. It's unfair to have Spong compete with Dillian in terms of achievements because he started later than Dillian, but if Spong beats Yoka convincingly then he deserves high place behind Dillian and Ustinov. I'll be impressed with Spong if he beats the double gold medallist, Yoka.
I knew Whyte was a kickboxer and more or less competed under K-1 rules but did he actually ever compete in K-1? With that being said Miller would deserve a nod. I forgot about him.
