Abraham isn't slow, and certainly no slower than Pavlik. Pavlik was landed on consistently by Zertuche, and even Lockett was able to put up a 32% connect percentage. Abraham has shown a crazy good chin, has more one punch power (Kelly's is cummulative), and would change tactics for a Pavlik fight. He used a short shot to set up Miranda for the KO, and would fight Pavlik in a way similar to how he fought Ikeke.

 

Not all of Abraham's hayemakers are wide, some of you guys need to watch more of his fights to see more, the Miranda fights aren't the only ones out there. Abraham can throw some serious straights as well and his handspeed is pretty decent. It's not like Pavlik's handspeed is any better, he's slow/sloppy as well and way too predictable with his punches, unlike Abraham. I'm pretty confident one of Abraham's counters will drop Pavlik within the first 4 rounds, not necessarily KO him but drop/hurt him good enough to gain his attention. AAs fighting style suited to a bar?, you're damn clueless, if Abraham's fighting style suits a bar then what about Pavlik's style?, his style is more "club" fighting than anyone.

 

Scar if Abraham drops Pavlik he is a lot better finished, and much physically stronger than, Taylor. He won't let Pavlik clinch him to get his head back, and would most likely finish him off.

 

He definitely has a good chance to drop Pavlik if not badly hurt him. Pavlik will get hit by some vicious counters whether his fans want to accept it or not, Pavlik will keep stalking and eventually get caught with enough counters that'll force him to take it to the middle of the ring rather than stalk. Pavlik really shines when his opponent goes to the ropes, that's where you see him throw some serious bombs and gain his opponent's attention, but with Abraham here he will have to eat some serious counters if it goes there. Pavlik is hardly good when it comes to defense which means you'll see him eat far more punches in this fight than Abraham and eventually as the fight goes those punches will start to hurt more and more leading to either late round TKO for Abraham or decision, that's my prediction. Also Pavlik has only gone the distance once and was tired late in the fight as much as Jermain was, otherwise he would've stopped Jermain but didn't take the risk because both were tired, still hurt Jermain with a body shot but couldn't finish because he was exhausted, meaning Pavlik WILL get tired late, Abraham doesn't get tired late and carries power in both hands till the 12th.

I'll take that bet sexy. Pavlik WILL NOT KO AA BEFORE and INCLUDING the 7th. U up for it, or has the sense of all these people changed ur mind. I don't debate that Kelly will win this one. If he is carefull he should take a decision or wear AA down for a late stoppage, but AA has a granite chin and I can't see Kelly stopping him as early as u predicted. So yes I shall be here for an avatar bet no problems.

 

I don't understand it m8. Seems like common sense is a thing of the past. White supremecists see a few of Kelly's fights and what he looks like, and automatically assume that he is the heir to the Kingdom of the Aryan Brotherhood, and the greatest hope they have since Max Schmelling.

 

i think this is a 60/40 fight in favor of pavlik due to style's. but i'd put my money on abraham catching him with a looping left.

 

A lot of the posts, especially realizm state Pavlicks 'chin" is stronger or better the Abrahams? WTF???? IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE! HARDEST CHIN HANDS DOWN IN BOXING, I don't care what anyone says. The guy has NEVER been knocked down, NOT EVEN CLOSE(even with a broken jaw)! MUCH less been hurt!
