Wladimir Klitschko vs Tyson Fury

It was a crap old fight, fury spoiled and messed around for 12 rounds nipping each one with a couple of jabs. Klitschko just didn’t know what to do with him and by the time he let his hands go Fury was either smothering or out the way

 

I would compare it to a scrappy 1 0 away win against ten men in football, hardly a classic performance.

 

It was like watching Tony Pullis WBA v Tony Pullis Stoke City - zero attacks with both happy with zero action and a draw.

Fury fortunate that any judge was still awake at the end to score the fight in his favour.

Was not a case of what you like the best - more like who bored the fans the least.

 

I really enjoyed that night, Fury schooled him Wladamir didnt have a clue what to do.

 

I'd rather watch a Tony pulis derby with extra time.

 

Terrible fight, Fury won because he was long, tall and awkward - there was no technical schooling here.

It’s not Tyson’s fault, but Wlad was also apparently mentally screwed up going into the fight as he was having problems with his Missus and her post natal depression.

This was a box office fight which I don’t think Sky have even shown a repeat of, or even made it available on demand...that’s how bad it was.

 

How was it a close fight, it was similar to Mayweather-Pacquiao. An 8-4 win.

Joshua fans will say that Wlad was finished and he was a much better version, when he hit 40.

I have watched the Fury fight back a couple of times and watching Tyson's faints is a thing of beauty. You realise how hard it is to hit him.

 

I don't see how they can show any footage of it as they don't have the rights to. It never was on their platform or sky box office as you are misinforming, it was exclusive to Boxnation. It's the reason they show still images of champions League games when they have to speak of it. Also I disagree with your opinion on the fight. Fury made it look easy, if it was easy to do that against him then the Ukrainian's reign wouldn't of lasted anywhere near as long. You're full of it.

 

You are wrong mate. Klitschko v Fury WAS on sky box office.

I think you are probably getting confused as the rematch which didn’t happen was scheduled for Boxnation.

Calzaghe vs Lacy is what you call a schooling.

Fury performed well but against an old opponent in a fight that lacked sparkle and any form of a clinic display.

 

Comfortable win not a schooling, looks better on the CV than it did in the flesh if that makes sense

 

It was a schooling. His distance control was a thing of beauty as well no matter how much people try to bring down Fury. Klitschko didn't throw as he knew he would fall short with his straight right as Fury was there waiting to counter especially when Fury switched to southpaw in round 3. Klitschko could have let his hands go as much as he liked, he was never catching Fury that night. Easy 9-3 victory for Fury and that was with a dodgy ref.

 

It was a great win, a British underdog taking to foreign shores and dethroning am all time great. It wasn’t the most exciting of fights and it did lack action. I don’t want to take anything away from Fury because it was excellent, he won, it weren’t a close fight, I thought he was a clear and deserved winner but it weren’t a schooling either. IMO.
