Both under the same promotional banner, why not make the fight? Hrgovic says himself he is ready for anyone, and no one really wants to see the Usyk Takam fight, Takam takes a beating in that one. Let's get it on, the winner surely would be in place for a title shot then!
Why is he saying he would fight and beat Joshua and Wilder right now then? Surely if he is saying those kind of statements he wouldn't be able to turn down Usyk!
If he keeps fighting bums Joshua and Wilder have an easy excuse to duck him If he beats Usyk he is mandatory straight away So fighting Usyk is a way to get paid
Doubt Usyk, Hrgovic or Hunter will be fighting each other any time soon. Theyll all be separately built into fights for Joshua.
Doubt that puny Usyk would dare fight a young dangerous heavyweight. He's having second thoughts with fighting Takam.
It's called building a career. He knows they won't take him up on the offer (unknown, brings nothing to the table) and right now he's too green for them too. But by the time he's ready he'll have a bit of a name and making the fight will be easier. At least that's how I read it.
Fight doesn't make sense right now. Uysk is being built as a prospective opponent for Joshua fighting Hrgovic who is a total novice as a pro would do little to build to a Joshua fight. He beats him convincingly he's beaten a total novice and is still an unknown quantity at heavyweight, he beats someone like Takam who's fought many of the top heavies in recent years and he does well then you can use that as a direct comparison to Joshua. Same for Hrgovic he beats Usyk and he's beaten a cruiserweight who has just moved up, people will say Usyk was always too small and Hrgovic needs to prove himself still vs a proven top heavyweight. This fight might make more sense later down the line when it would make more money, when Usyk has established himself at heavyweight and when Hrgovic has built a resume with some names that matter.
This is complete nonsense that the promoters have sold you. It would be a great fight for the fans, there is no reason not to make it ahead of Usyk Takam. Hrgovic is a much bigger scalp than Chisoras leftovers. Frank Warren is putting on Dubois Vs Gorman, when everything you said applies to that fight but they don't care they want to make the best fights. Who cares if one person wins and one loses thats boxing, you can come back
