Fury turned down the Wilder rematch, and has now flip-flopped on Whyte after saying he would fight him It's not a good look HW boxing such a joke right now
https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/wilder-vs-fury-2-signed.630163/ ... There’s your reason for dodging Whyte ... & don’t think a rematch with Wilder could be described as cowardly.
Don't get too excited just yet. A tweet from Wilder isn't iron clad guarantee that the rematch will happen. Fury still has much time to find a way out.
This aged well. This thread aged well. Why don’t you guys take into account what Arum said when he signed Fury. Did it not occur to you that their plan for a rematch might actually have been true? Have some patience and the big fights will materialise.
Guys don't let Fury Vs Wilder 2 announcement distract you from the real trade fight at Madison Square garden tomorrow
Landing the least amount of punches is complete fabrication. Also Joshua had only landed 7 more punches than fury on klit when it was stopped with a round and a half to go. Also klitschkos average land on fury was 4 punches per round. A feather fist made an ATG terrified. Klitschko on average landed 9 punches per round on Joshua.
I don't understand all this fuss about Fury and Dillian Whyte anyway. Why a load of you getting your knickers in a twist all because Fury said he'd fight Whyte and then said a few days later he doubts he'll fight Whyte ........ saying all this at the end of May, when Whyte's got a fight scheduled for JULY 20th (almost 2 months awaay) gainst Oscar Rivas .... and Fury already has said he hopes to fight 3 times this year and is scheduled to fight June 15th and mid/late September...... it was always BS from all sides .... the schedules don't align well. Fury will say anything from day to day, and Eddie Hearn was faking his outrage on Fury "backing out" to make himself look like he' landed Whyte a huge fight ..... it's all bollocks. .... and since when have all you giving much of a **** about Fury v Whyte anyway ?? It's an okay fight , a good fight..... so is Fury-Pulev .... or Fury-Parker ...... but hardly anything to get upset about not happening. I'm actually hoping Whyte v Rivas is a good one. There's probably more chance of it being competitive than Whyte v Fury, to be honest.
Actually, it did occur. But Wilder, PBC and Fury have lied and flip-flopped so many times lately they probably have to screw their socks on when they wake up in the morning. It wasn't a good look at the time. I am sceptical, but if it does happen next then it's an amazing fight and I will be backing Fury 100% to finish the job he started.
Spot on mate. Whyte gets a pass on this amongst all the ducking and diving it's forgotten that he turned down a chance to fight Joshua. Once it was the champions who ducked the top contenders, now the contenders duck the champions!
Tyson would take Dillians soul in a manner akin to the Chisora fight. Fury is doing him a favour trust me.
