Joshua TKO7 but Adam Smith will say at least one of the following statements, sounding unintentionally surprised:

"He's a good fighter isn't he, Andy Ruiz."
"He does have very fast hands doesn't he, Andy Ruiz."
"He doesn't look the part does he, Andy Ruiz, but looks can be very deceiving."

Head says Joshua round 7... but I think Ruiz could cause the upset early - you just never know and he has fast hands which makes him a very different proposition to Big Burger Miller. I hope AJ wins so the big fights are not derailed. Same with Wilder - Ortiz: wanting Wilder to get the win there (think he will as all Ortiz has done is age since their first fight)

Ruiz will come out swinging, catch AJ with a couple of shots in the first two and edge the rounds. AJ will start reading him and walk him on to a huge shot in the 4th, Ruiz scrapes through the 4th before taking a systematic beat down until the ref eventually saves him in the 6th.

I rewatched that Ruiz-Parker fight having not watched it since that morning. I had it a draw (previously thought Ruiz won it). Joshua is going to smash him with the jab to the head and body early on. Ruiz is dangerous when he gets in on the inside as his arms are short and he can wing those hooks in. I think Joshua will tie him up though. I don’t believe Ruiz can wobble AJ with head shots but he might have success to the body. That’s his only chance of causing a massive upset imo. He’s far too open though and he’ll catch an uppercut or right hand. This fight is over in 6 rounds.

    Pretty early KO.
Ruiz is there to be hit and Joshi has to prove something in his US debut.

    Under 6 rounds.

Soft body and short. Joshua has an uppercut from hell.

AJ round 6. He was bothered by Parkers hand speed and Ruizs speed is much better and he throws more than 1 punch at a time. Which could actually be his undoing if he stays in the pocket to long.
AJ has massive, reach, height and power advantages but I see him working the jab being very defensively aware for a few rounds before upping the volume of his attack and taking Ruiz out.

I think we could somehow have a shock this weekend. No idea why. I just think it may go pear shaped for Joshua.

We could have the first morbidly obese boxing champ in history.
