Real long odds anyone fancy a cheeky bet .If Aj can't get it Finished early it could get interesting ..
Don't get your knickers in a twist. There is zero chance of it getting interesting. AJ will likely try to one-up Wilder and go for a 1st round spectacular KO. If somehow this does not happen then it will be a steady flow of powerful combinations landing on that fat sack of lard until he goes down like a sack of potatoes.
The thing is Ruiz LOOKS trimmer and lean muscle weighs more then fat but even a lean 260 plus is not going to do him favors. Ruiz simply cannot win unless hes lighter on his feet ,its not about taking punches its about actually avoiding taking them . The fight has basically become Miller again with just a SLIGHT more threat in Ruiz due to skill and ability to slip shots but????? IDK,Joshua might be joking more in the media but I don't see this going past 6 rounds. My pick is Joshua in 4.
Ruiz will get brutally poleaxed . I tought he had a chance to be at least a bit competitive but then I saw his weight...Total disgrace.
Heavyweight Boxing needs to claw back some credibility....I am afraid this fight does nothing to advance it.!!!
I'm going to be bold and say AJ TKO round 10 or later with Ruiz making a great account of himself laying supa quick hands on AJ with punches in bunches but the size and power wearing on him late. Ruiz is tough, quick, slips shots pretty well (which will aid him well against a taller man), and going the distance with Parker and holding his own in that fight absolutely is noteworthy. None of Parker's shots fazed him and he got the better of most combination exchanges. You guys can't get passed the image of a fat dude as a sedentary couch potato whose daily workout is a 10m walk to the fridge. In reality he's a fat guy with strength, power, speed and stamina that would put most of you to shame. Including many other HW boxers themselves.
I think that Ruiz is gonna really try to take it to AJ - and it will cost him dearly. He seems to not move his head mid exchange. That is gonna be suicide against AJ - AJ probably has the best inside game from all the elite heavyweights today. AJ isn't the smartest boxer or most skilled like Tyson, but the areas he excels in more then make up for it. AJ inside 6 - i'm thinking round 4 personally.
This is what would have happened had Butterbean been gifted a HW title shot back in the day, instead of remaining at his clubfighter level all his life. to be fair, Miller was another Butterbean.AJ is crepping on his own legacy just when it was getting started.
Ruiz will be Joshua's moby dick. The bodybuilder will try to take out this behemoth whale. But the punches will rebound off his flabby titties, and Anthony will be sent slingshotted across the ring.
