1 man-beast versus a slightly feminine looking girl.... Man-beast will win by KO but I have no interest. At least, I know when to go go the toilet, grab some food or watch something else.
Persoon has already pretty much said she’s just happy to be there, I think she’ll put on a brave show and get stopped The gap between these full time pro women coming from the amateurs like Taylor or Shields and pros like Persoon who also has a day job is just massive
I don't think Taylor will win by KO, Delfine is a tough cookie with a lot of experience behind her. I hope she'll be able to make use of her size and reach and KO Taylor. She's been pestering Delfine since she arrived in New York...had her thrown out of her hotel even though it was known for weeks she stayed at the same one as Taylor, had her take a new round of bloodtests for which the doc refused to move, so she had to drive for hours to the hospital, and then they requested an immediate translation into english of her medical records, all within two days before the bout....meanwhile Katie is chilling in her hotel and is "left alone". I personally think she's scared of Persoon. But we'll have to see ofcourse
hahhaha, I saw this fight scheduled and I said to myself "taylor again! wtf, how many fights a year is he fighting?, and... versus who?" Ok, I understand now. Taylor, the woman. Now everything makes sense.
A few inconvenient facts for you 1. The hotel thing was in the original contract....not Katies fault. 2. The lack of medical facilities in a foreign country is hardly Katie's fault. 3. I doubt a translation issue has anything to do with either fighter.
1. Then why wait untill a couple of days before the bout to make it known you don't want your opponent in your hotel? 2. New York? Lack of medical facilities? Really? And btw...Persoon's tested immune to hepatitis for years now 3. Belgium is hardly a third world country, top 10 or something on worldwide list of healthcare but still, her medical records were not trusted...1 day before the fight...the least you could say it is weird, but occams razor applies here...its most likely pestering with the help of officials, because this could have been worked out weeks ago Anyway, just enjoy the fight, aight? I don't think those shenanigans will distract Persoon.

Fantastic fight. Incredibly tough on both girls. Katie seemed flat in there after 2 rounds and fought delfines fight from there on. Whether this is due to Katie having something wrong with her or just the sheer pressure from Delfine I don't know. Rematch in Dublin? ???
