That is the sum of it. Joshua took a heavy shot to the temple. His senses were scrambled. As a boxer at his level, he really should avoid that kind of punch. He got hit by it for the reason that you say - he didn't give Ruiz the respect he deserved. When I saw Joshua skipping about in the first round, I thought that he wasn't taking the occasion as seriously as he should.

Ruiz's speed of hand is what won him the fight, but it was accentuated by Joshua's complacence.

Exactly what I was thinking. All that talk about height, too powerful etc. Ruiz won with boxing skills. Usyk is a better boxer with better footwork, and is taller than Ruiz.

Weight training stamina is not the same as cardio stamina. I think that is AJ problem. He is to bulked up. He needs to work on his cardio.
