Who won. Delfine Persoon or Katie Taylor

Did you watch the fight, IB? I'm usually more or less carefull with crying robbery, but the crowd I watched it with (mostly brit islanders btw) and myself were just disgusted. As it seems most here are also. I've seen Persoon fight live in the typical belgian shack that goes for "a boxing event" and then to see her get shafted in the biggest fight of her life in a legendary venue, is just heartbreaking

 

Nope, but I can envision it having watched plenty of both of them, and figured Persoon getting robbed was on the short list of possibilities (aside from it resembling Shields vs. Hammer, where the more physically gifted athlete beats the superior boxer) - I kind of had a sinking feeling and knew that Persoon getting the nod was as unlikely as either woman scoring a KO. I can't remember the last time I saw this close to unanimity in a decision being called a robbery, between here and on social media.

 

This was the equivalent of a tutor giving a private lesson to a student, only to have the parents stiff the bill so they can buy their kid some more Lacoste polos instead.

 

More like a fencing tutor drilling a newbie on thrust, parries, and ripostes for an hour and the dad popping out from a closet, stabbing them in the head with a machete and yelling "look son, you've won; you're the champion at swords!"
