He isn't phased by the height difference. His hands are so fast that it would put Wilder's china chin down just like Joshua. He has no chance against Fury though
Fury's much faster on his feet, but Ruiz is way more heavy handed. Handspeed is more comparable, Tyson has very fast hands for a Heavyweight, but Ruiz is no slouch in that department and he packs a bunch with that hand speed.
Wilder would probably KO Ruiz. Wilder brings a one punch and covers good distance. Ruiz has heavy feet and would get caught. Fury would box circles around Ruiz. Easy night for Fury.
Ortiz a much harder puncher than Ruiz couldnt even ko Wilder. Wilder is getting in the ring with him again. AJ dick riders gtfoh
Wilder is a single punch guy. He throws his right hand as hard as he can and he usually lands it, eventually. Doesn't rely on combinations. He'll catch Ruiz and KO him cold.
I'm not sure about Tyson. Tyson Fury said he had to brawl Cunningham because he was way too fast to outbox. I'm still not sure even Tyson could beat AJ in the future, assuming AJ comes prepared. In the end styles makes fights. AJ probably didn't do his homework on Ruiz and paid for it.
Yeah and I noticed that AJ was sort of crouching down to Ruiz so he could land a jab. It seemed like AJ was making himself smaller so he could punch straight at Ruiz (rather than punching down on Ruiz). Not sure I could see Wilder crouching down like AJ did if he fought Ruiz, he would probably stay upright more. I could see Ruiz outworking Wilder but he could walk into a big shot from Wilder. I was just thinking that Ruiz could have walked on to a big shot that would put him out vs AJ but he just didn't, he managed to avoid it.
He definitely 'could' beat Wilder. But its an entirely different matchup that has nothing to do with how he matched up with AJ. Wilder will mostly be doing a lot of waiting out of range to detonate a long bomb, not looking to trade combinations on the inside. If Wilder stays on form, he presents much more danger and should give less opportunities than AJ did, and will fight Ruiz in a manner more conducive to victory, and how a tall man should fight a short man. That being said. Ruiz still has an excellent chance to set the pace, outworking Wilder, hurting him, and banking rounds. So I dont count him out. Will be one hell of a matchup. Ruiz's quality and quantity over *if* Wilder can land his bomb and if he does... will it be enough.
Do you guys realize that every time there is a major upset, we overhype whoever pulled it off? Props to Ruiz, but he’s not beating anyone of note. Wilder would take him out within the first two minutes, and Fury would look prime Ali in there. Once again props to Ruiz, but Joshua had no business losing like that. Something was up . I hate to use the classic “he didn’t take it seriously”, but that’s what it seems like.
Lol Tyson Fury doesn't have fast hands. He throws slapping arms punches. Tyson Fury isn't fast on his feet either he just runs. In any case AJ was always a paper champion as I stated numerous times. Ruiz beating him doesn't mean he could beat Wilder. Wilder is overrated but he is slightly better than Joshua and has much better stamina.
