Wait and see. Money spinning rematch gets his titles back then tempts Fury and Wilder out for next year. I will take some convincing to not think last night was crooked as ****
First thing my Mrs said was fix, she knows nothing about boxing though. Reckons AJ didn’t seem bothered at all. I think AJ gave up after round 4. Realised he was getting time to recover and literally gave up and went out on his shield so to speak, knowing he could come in fully fit in the rematch and probably keep him at arms length and never trade. I worry about AJ though. Any clean shot he’s took it sapps all his energy and takes many rounds to recover. Whyte couldn’t get it done due to injured shoulder and poor conditioning himself, and being not that good. Wlad was and always has been gun shy letting him off the hook. I seriously think Fury could knock out AJ his chin or lack of absorbing a shot is that poor. He wins the rematch, but after that, other than cashing out vs Wilder or Fury, I fail to see what he does other than beat stiff aging fighters like Pulev.
Excuses, excuses, excuses. People scrabbling around looking for pathetic reasons why their boy got beat. Its very similar to the Wilder fans coming out with rediculous reasons why they felt he beat Fury, let alone draw with him just because he knocked Fury down twice. Just take the L and move on. It happens.
Yeah work is going to be unbearable everyone is going to have an opinion when they watch about five fights a year and know nothing about Andy Ruiz.
Why was he begging his corner for advice every round after the 3rd? He was basically pleading with McCracken to give him more advice than jab right hand. He got a straight up boxing lesson.
The dazed look on his face while getting that neck massage when the fighters were being announced was bizarre. Al Haymon pulling his illuminati strings yet again. Probably had someone using energy directed weapons on AJ. People would call that nonsense but those weapons are known to exist, nevermind the classified versions. I'm sure it's happened in sport before. Regardless, F*ck Eddie Hearn and TonyHayers lololol
It's a pity nobody told Eddie Hearn about the fix because he looks like he's about to have a stroke. Some mongos on this bloody forum I swear.
It was legit my guy, he was trying to take ruiz's head off in there. I doubt he'll fight abroad now as he misses out on the UKAD exemptions, matchroom refs and matchroom judges
Don't know about conspiracies but it was clear for some unknown reason that Tony Dosh and Katie Taylor appeared to unusually have empty tanks after 2 rounds. Something in the Matchroom bottled water?
He looked a bit strange pre-fight, like he didn't want to be there or was stoned or something. During the fight, he had no clue what to do.
The difference between Katie Taylor and Tony Dosh PPV on Sat both looking gassed after 2 rounds was Katie Taylor dug deep and fought through it like a man where Tony Dosh fell apart and fought like a George and Danny.
He doesn't neeed a loss to get money spinning fights. If anything, he'll get a lower percentage of the purse no matter who he fights without any belts whereas he could call the shots while in most people's perception he was still "the man." He went from being the number one guy in the division to number four in twenty minutes. Only a fool would do that on purpose. And considering the politics of boxing I'm not 100% sure that there will even be an immediate rematch. Ruiz has the same promotor as Wilder and I bet that Haymon would rather see his guys fight each other than risk losing most of those belts to Joshua again.
