Fury at that time many felt was due to his inactivity and weight loss
It's after the event that wilder is being noted for that fight and that's because many felt Fury looked the winner

    You understood the thread
Only thing I see that may differ to what you wrote was about Joshua in that I think due to his brand had alot of draining pressure on him almost every time he fought

I’m not sure now, he might have missed his chance for his biggest payday ever.

    I don't know.
He could get the Ruiz win and titles and then be the bigger earner against Joshua who will still be a massive brand but Wilder would be in the driving seat
I think Ruiz would be an easier fight for wilder than Joshua but Joshua has possibly lost the undefeated confidence that wilder has possibly kept due to the disputed Fury decision

If he gets a win over Ruiz he can clean up and done it his way

Due to playing the long game, he could possibly get the Ruiz fight and he would be thought of as the champion to many

I have said this many times, but in the UK the HWs get matched tough and built up early which I think can shorten a career as I think the being the centre of attention for them can be very draining and cause upsets to happen.

He won a world title and unified another 2. He did the hard work, like Wladimir had done previously in winning the titles.

I have said in another thread how well Wilder has been managed in that he had many learning fights before going for a title but not draining fights where pressure was on. I think that has served well, as well as not being massively exposed in learning world title fights and being on the side waiting for the right time.

In every one of Joshuas world title fights, his opponents had had more fights than he has had. Think about that, yet he has been in the spot light more than almost all of the others on the big stage as a brand. That is what I think has been draining

I would guess that wilder can capitalise on a situation now and could get there without facing Whyte, wladimir, Parker, Joshua, povetkin
    Management?

I think Joshua's fight with Ruiz would have been similar to say if Wilder were to face Whyte in the UK in terms of risk as an away champion
