You are not fit to post on Ruiz like I wrote. You are the biggest ****ing tool here. I'm gonna stick your post in my sig or something. Ban bet, get lost. I'm not giving you an out jackass.
Why are you trying this hard to act like you got me on something? Mr. I talk like I predicted this after the fight. I said Ruiz was a fat slob and still think so. You think it bothers me that you quoted me on that post? Lol. That would only work if I had changed my tune after the fight. You seem desperate to prove a point like you've never won an argument in your life. Go ahead then, you sad little man.
He doesn't. What he has is a tall guy making big mistakes here ,Ruiz doesn't have any advantages beyond slight speed but that's not style that's an attribute. Joshua just over extended leaving himself open to fast counters, more on his right side opening himself to hooks . If he doesn't do this the fight doesn't go much longer after the first knockdown on Ruiz. This is what happens when tall guys don't fight short guys well and AJ will have a far better gage next time ,so don't expect the same fight , its why I picked mike Tyson over AJ for the very reason you saw ,but Ruiz is no Tyson and I expect him to lose in a rematch, AJ will be just to good a boxer and wont get hit that cleanly as much.
They had a good game plan and knew AJ weakness etc. He also had the talent the speed and knows how to use it.It worked.AJ couldn’t handle the speed of the punches coming at him.He couldn’t get out of the way and got punished.Just never fought someone with that kind of speed?
Joshua was actually beating him to the punch on the inside up until he over extended and took a huge hook. Not much speed difference , both landed a simultaneous left hook to .
Nope. He nearly lost and was getting tagged ,thus the knock down or was that wind that knocked Ruiz down ? lol You really need to rewatch the first few rounds. Ruiz only started getting AJ's timing after round 4 where he started to go through AJ's guard more and more.
Hahaha. No, you need to rewatch the fight. From the very first 60 seconds of the fight, Ruiz was getting him. You're just in denial. You're pathetic.
Ruiz head movement was impressive. Joshua doesn’t know what head movement is. I read Ruiz has been fighting since the age of 6 so that much experience and learning the craft that long will make up for any types of body image that people look down in him for.
It was a stylistic master class, IMO... Joshua had the reach and height advantage, so he was using the jab in Rounds 1-2 and clearly looking to set up a straight or hook. Ruiz kept on the outside and didn't bite even as he ate some of those jabs to the face.. he was waiting for AJ to let those long arms go so he could get inside and land his short hooks. Basically he recognized that he was short and squat enough (and AJ long enough) to load up on power shots at close proximity after a whiff. Joshua should have seen this & been using feints to get Ruiz to let his hands go so he could land his own counters, but I don't think he had the wherewithal.
