He was completely done, if AJ finished the fight on his back after going down multiple times then they may not even have took the rematch. Discuss.
Good call by the ref on AJ's behalf. AJ was already beaten so no reason to be completely humiliated, psyche destroyed and disowned by his fanbase if he's brutally koed in the end.
Put it better than myself. Someone who didnt watch the fight asked me if it was an early stoppage. I don’t think it should be in question but some have mentioned it.
