You couldn't rip anyone on anything boxing related. You are one of those that gets caught up in the moment and doesn't see things properly. You don't know ****. I never said he got lucky. He stayed composed enough to hurt Joshua when Joshua was coming at him and managed to hurt him. Anybody with two eyes could see Joshua never recovered from the first knock down. So Ruiz fought a hurt Joshua for the rest of the fight. He may or may not be able to do it again.

It's funny seeing these experts "force" an analysis on something that never happened.

To act like that performance is something AJ can't come back from is ****ing stupid. Can Ruiz beat him again? Well duh. How long have you been watching boxing? Because there's been far, far more convincing performances that are avenged in rematches. Typical prisoner of the moment, emotional comment.

He will stick to fighting in England for a while. He'll come back juiced to the gills. His boxing skills will probably not improve though. His game is flawed and Ruiz took advantage of it.

Full props to Ruiz. His win was not the result of a single lucky punch. He out fought AJ and was the better man.

It's hard to say. This was a really emphatic loss and very embarrassing considering the circumstances. It's not impossible though. Wlad came back from the Brewster fight to dominate for a decade. That's probably optimistic for Joshua, but there's no reason why he can't get back to the drawing board and rebuild himself. It depends how much he wants it and how much he's willing to humble himself.

This was no lucky punch win. AJ had his soul taken from him and was ultimately humiliated by a fat stand in who can box a bit. I'm struggling to make a case for him even winning a rematch let alone beating Wilder and Fury. He's been exposed big time.

Yes, but Aj needs to work on his conditioning. He also needs to learn how to use his strength against his opponent. Say what you want about GGG & Spence but they are the GOATs when it comes to imposing their physical will on their opponents. I think AJ needs to switch trainers. Freddie Roach, Sanchez, or Vlad's coach would turn Aj into an unstoppable psycopath. He has the instinct he just needs to accept that he is not a great ouboxer. He would do better being a brawler like Mercer, Tyson, or Tua.

This. Joshua was too eager for the knockout. It showed his inexperience. He also seemed surprised with Ruiz’s durability. I still wonder if Joshua team did their homework on Ruiz. I had no doubt that Ruiz was durable enough to go the distance, but I didn’t expect Joshua to be as impatient as he was. He needs to focus on trying to win and not trying to force the knockout.

Its possible Joshua has taken his eye off the ball, earned too much money, become too comfortable and thought it would be an easy defence (think rocky Balboa Vs clubber Lang lol)

He didn't look interested, was far too casual and once he went down a mixture of having his senses scrambled from a shot behind the ear and shock meant he never recovered and had no response.

Hopefully that's the case, he gets his hunger back, changes some things up maybe with a new trainer and goes and gets his belts back.

Or alternatively he could just be a chinny robot with no stamina and was exposed badly against a total style mismatch.

Only time will tell but I believed AJ was the best in the division before so I'm going to stick with him.

I think a new trainers in order. It’s like football teams, a coach can only take them so far, and then they need freshening up. He needs new ideas and new goals. Only a new trainer will give him that and he’ll have no trouble finding one. They’ll be queuing up to train AJ.

Yeah same, you dont really see the mettle of someone until you see how they handle defeat. He could come back and be dominant or he could fade away.

He won't dominate as he lack skills to take advantage of physical advantages, but he can win a close fight.

To be honest, Wilder gets away with it because he has a chin and has elite power. Things AJ does not have, he has no choice but to fight like Wlad, if he goes to war against Wilder he will capitulate the moment Wilder connects on the jaw/head

This is what i find laughable, AJ has been trying to implement the Wlad style after the fight with Wlad where he uses the jab, grabs/holds opponents who rush in at him. Doing it under pressure when he is up against a quick fighter is another story, that is what seperates him and Wlad

Of course he can but he needs a lot of work. Ruiz bullied him and proved a lot of people wrong. I don’t think Joshua has looked great in the last few fights and has become sloppy , evident of that was last night. I don’t know if he needs to get a new trainer but he needs to improve a lot before the rematch.
