My concern for Joshua is the way he was beaten. As the cliché goes, in the heavyweight division, everyone has a punchers chance, and if Ruiz had won with a bomb from nowhere, knocking AJ out, then we would accept that, it has happened lots in the history of boxing. This though was a beating, an inability to think in the ring, not knowing how to quell the attacks, and a lack of mobility and speed. He got beat up, and that is going to be a lot harder to come back from. Has Ruiz shown all out of that top 3 elite, a blueprint to beating Joshua for everyone else? This current version of Whyte would destroy AJ on that performance, and I have always believed Wilder and Fury win in their own styles.

Yeah that is the blueprint, that's why I said Dillian Whyte has a strong chance on the rematch, but all these fanboys were like "Errrrr nooooo, same result, but even worse" I saw from day 1, AJ was vulnerable, and he didn't improve much at all past few years. Relied on his brute force in the exchanges to come out on top. All these fanboys who thought AJ was a demigod, and invincible, and no one else outside top three, was on his level.
I get what people are saying, yet he fought back and showed guts after being badly wobbled by Whyte and floored by Wlad, he did the same in the amateurs. I'm not trying to make excuses for him but something didn't seem right.
Yeah this is why the quitting talk is so strange. In trouble VS Whyte fought back and nearly took his head off. In bigger trouble VS Wlad almost a punch away from defeat. He regrouped got back on top and won. Had his struggles with Povetkin - fought back and won He's no ATG but something is was up. Maybe its just that Ruiz is far better than anyone thought or maybe Aj didn't have his eye on the ball time will tell. but saying he quit? I'm not so sure. His career so far has had a few flash points and hes come through them.
All that’s up is that he got hit on the part of the head which completely rattled him, he didn’t know where he was after that. He took those punches from Wlad and Whyte is better spots, he was still there enough to get back on top and eventually recover and win.
Whytes name was mentioned earlier , I thought Ruiz was on his A game & good luck to him, but I think if he runs into Whyte he will lose , roughly same height & build, squat & powerful & Whyte can take a beating. Wilder if he doesn't catch Ruiz could get beat ...Fury , well Ruiz & his team should take long steps in the opposite direction...
Lol dude Wlad knocked him down. It took AJ 5 rounds to recover. Wlad didn't jump in and try to finish him because he was afraid to get hit himself. Dillian Whyte landed one good punch and just couldn't follow up with anything. Alexader Povetkin is old and got tired after a few rounds and was done. Andy Ruiz isn't anything special. Anthony Joshua is just bad.

It's currently 14:28 PM BST time here, and I am still in a state of shock over the manner of defeat in which AJ suffered. I just can't believe how badly he was beat down, multiple times in a row.
This wasn't just a loss, he was completely exposed. A blowout! It was always going to happen the moment he went in against someone able and at prime age and not washed up. It will happen again.
If you are overly shocked then you fall into that bracket of those who fell for the hype, blind to the facts and easily manipulated by the marketing.
