Would you pick anyone below 180 lbs over Fitzsimmons?

Maybe Ezzard Charles. Not sure about that one. Though he could be somewhat hitable.

Billy Conn might be one of the best to beat him, good skills and hard to KO

    I really rate Fitz obviously

Let me see I would pick any modern day fighter from 147 up to beat him. The reason is because these guys had modern level of skill and weren't some tomato can from the 1880's.

Ya know darlin’, I gotta admit I don’t get you. Are you a kid just trolling? Are you an older guy that life has dealt too many cruel blows to? Are you on meds? Are you off meds?
All of the above questions seem reasonable to myself and many others. Your replies in both the general and classic forums are the internet equivalent of an organ grinding m0nkey on a leash trying to play Haydn. At first it’s cute and even a little humorous. Hell, even the right note gets played once in awhile. But when m0nkey insists on continuing to play it’s just weird and annoying.
Don’t take things too seriously and this life won’t bring you down as much. Attitude is everything, bud.

    Langford
    Charles
    Tunney
    Greb and Hagler at 160

Conn might cause problems over 12-15

You see?! You’re doing it again! You’re grinding your organ.
Seriously, if there’s one thing I learned in AA it’s that it’s ok to get angry, but it’s no ok to stay angry. I hope you learn that lesson sooner rather later; if not for your own sake then for the sake of the rest of the world.

I'd pick a lot of fighters to beat Bob. Just to name a few - Roy Jones, Bob Foster, Qawi, Spinks, Charles, Moore, Hagler, Leonard, Hearns, McCallum, Ward, Kovalev, Harold Johnson, Adonis Stevenson, Saad Muhammad. I'd pick middleweight Duran to beat Bob. The Duran that fought Hagler. Simple reason being, I don't see Bob dealing with what these fighters dealt with. I don't see anyone with lateral movement like Leonard, a jab like Hagler, defense like Qawi, pressure like Duran/Hagler etc. How can I expect him to beat someone like Michael Spinks? How will Bob deal with Qawi's jab? How about Hagler's jab and his southpaw stance? How will he deal with Hearn's long jab and his methodical pressure? How would Bob beat a prime Yaqui Lopez? Or Marvin Johnson?

Perhaps we should give Bob the chance to acclimatize to modern rules, equipment and styles.

He's in my ATG Top 10 because that sort of power and that knack for the KO which he possessed is neither taught nor learned, and is translatable to any era so long as we keep him in a reasonable division. I picked Jones because I think Roy, at his best, was almost impossible to catch in a trap.

This crossed my mind too, but I’m going to assume they’re not aware that particular post. I’ve never came close to reporting someone but I did consider it for this post due to the pedo remark. The poster obviously has something wrong with him and maybe it’s actually good that he is here and posts; if not, he would have more time on his hands and his sickness might manifest itself in real life and not internet trolling.

Bob Foster and Marvin Hagler would be my top 2 against him.
