God this is crazy. Did people start talking about how Douglas shouldn't be disrespected after his Tyson win. The writing was always on the wall for him, and is nearly as apparent for Ruiz.

It's clear as day you are still hurting and in denial over AJ's loss. I can see you are projecting your hope that Ruiz is one hit wonder like Buster. I'm afraid AJ is no Tyson rofl.

STFU, moron. What's "crazy" is that you made a thread like this and really expected positive reinforcement of your dumb half-baked opinions, and your fragile little ego isn't able to handle the cognitive dissonance with everybody calling you out for knowing jack shit about boxing after you've convinced yourself of your expertise. (look up Dunning Kruger)

Jeez, you really don't learn, do you? AJ was my least favorite of the big three. I'm just pointing out his vanquisher isn't great shakes, or at least there are a good number of reasons to believe he isn't. How about we see if big bad Ruiz can clean out the division or not?

Lol, you probably got Dunning Kruger from me. Most of your attacks really are just reflective of you. Honestly, I e taken the measure of you before I, and found you wanting. You are a bully who backs down when put to it. I recall you and @GALVATRON little back and forth. You aren't worth my time

Well see, the problem is you are disrespecting the man for things he's yet to do or even had a chance to do. Now you wanna talk about whether he's gonna clear the division? You are seriously narcissistic and ego centric. The fact is, Ruiz owns the 3 out of 4 belts. All roads lead to him. :fufu

Look, I get it, you hate Wilder and Ortiz, just like I hate Joshua. And yes... Ruiz deserves FULL CREDIT. But... I don't think its meant as disrespect towards Andy to speculate how well Ortiz could have potentially done against AJ. Ortiz isn't all that easy to beat, there's a reason why he's never been outboxed, ever. Wilder was cautious as hell, and for a change, actually attempted to box smart, and still walked onto several vicious counters, one of which nearly had him out on his feet for a minute. Ortiz wouldn't show up half-assed and disinterested like he was against Hammer and Kauffman, he'd show up fully prepared and focused. And let's be honest here, AJ has never had an easy time with southpaws, especially in the ams, I doubt he'd deal with Ortiz any better. And also let's be honest, AJ has no chin. Then man has been hurt by every decent fighter he's shared the ring with. Wlad nearly KO'd him, and would have had he not listened to Vitali an took his foot off the gas. Whyte had him out on his feet until his shoulder blew out, Parker rocked him with an uppercut and the ref stepped him to give AJ cover, and Povetkin clipped him with some glancing blows and hurt him. AJ's chin isn't David Price level... but close. Also, I think its fair t surmise a man who went to war with Fury and ate several flush hard bombs, and survived a sustained bashing from Ortiz and never went down, has a far better chin than AJ, so its not a case of, oh Wilder survived, so could AJ No... he couldn't.:deal:

And yeah, Fury has underrated power, hence why Wlad wasn't trying to walk through his shots, and why he stopped Hammer and Povetkin and Ortiz could not, and he stopped Chisora, and it took Whyte almost two fights to. So at the very least its comparable to those guys.

Until he inevitably gets beat in the next 16 months. He might beat AJ in a rematch. But Haymon will feed him to Wilder thereafter.

That's always your response, but you never really try to debate on points, do you?

It is disrespectful because it implies that anyone could have stepped in and taken that win.

Ortiz isn't just anyone. He's a Top 10 solid as hell Heavyweight, who's a damn good counter puncher with more than respectable power. The only one being disrespectful here is you... of Ortiz.

 Oh yeah, because he started a thread doing that, instead of the OP starting one dismissing Ruiz as in the right place at the right time.

He's not that Ortiz anymore. He's a couple years older with his heart palpitations, all due respect to Ortiz. He isn't a boogeyman. But again, you are doing the exact thing the OP did, you acting like anyone could have just jumped in there.
