Ruiz, Jr. vs Two-Ton Tony Galento.

If they fought in the same era, obviously they would have been
    on a "collision" course.

    Who wins?

Ruiz would absolutely clown him. He can match him in fighting spirit and completely outclass him in skill, balance, combos, footwork... Bad match-up for Tony.

He doesn't need me to build him up. He's the champ.

And he really doesn't need a lot of build up to pick him over Galento.

Champ of belts that didnt exist decades ago.
I'm sure Galento would be the champ too if they had 4 or 5 belts in the 30's.
    Tyson Fury is the champ.

Doesn't speak well for that era.

I admit you are correct but I am still riding high on King Andy and the continuation of the lineage that began with Bombardier Billy Wells and previous to Saturday extended only to David Price. Up The Republic!

I pick other older heavyweights over Ruiz, but not Galento.

Ruiz out boxes Galento and out fights him too, with some difficulty.

    Probably Ruiz.

The tale of the tape would be something to behold.

And seeing the flab of these two wobbling around in unison would be strangely hypnotic. Kind of like watching a grotesque lava lamp.

I don't see one stopping the other, depends on how liberal referee is.

galento was a dirty fighter who was lucky he fought in an era where rules where viewed as a pure formality. under modern rule enforcement, he would not have any success.
    ruiz would beat him easily.

    How about under 1930s rules?
