Are you out of your mind?!?!?!?! That left hook was brutal! AJ caught him with some big shots man. As far as AJ destroying Ruiz in a rematch its totally possible. I can easily see that happening. I don't see it happening but its possible that this might have just been an off night for AJ and he shows up 100% focused mentally and physically for the rematch. Totally possible.

Ruiz is just a bad Style Match for AJ. He's too fast cracks too hard to durable I see the rematch going the same way that's it I don't think that Anthony Joshua is finished he just had a bad style matchup.

I didn't say anything about a brutal shot, the fact is AJ will finish him off next time should he get a knockdown . . Landing a big shot is not boxing and he didn't box , he attacked and left himself open and spent most time off the back foot ??? lol And threw limited combos if any ,didn't even have a jab working which didn't let him use his actual size with the style match up.

People probably are also unaware Mike Hunter knocked out Ruiz awhile back but probably couldn't today.

Theres levels to this, those levels should be obvious here . One fight doesn't mean its set in stone

Guys like Ruiz ,Hunter, Miller, Kownacki, Martin , Bakole, Allen , Parker could win on any given night against each other,in this case Ruiz happens to have one on AJ but don't expect a repeat, he fought way to long in the U.K and changed his surroundings with not enough time to adapt...this wont be the case no matter where he fights next time. lol

    Allen ???!??

Exactly what are you talking about, he would lose badly to the others, he's a level below and knows it himself.

I'd pick any of the others listed to beat Allen handily (even Charles Martin)

Joshua looked really off in the fight, so I'd want to see a rematch before passing judgement.

Ruiz is good but he'd already been beaten by Parker previously (a close fight, even if you disagreed with the verdict) so he was clearly on a certain level that wasn't quite champion-level. I dunno. Maybe he just improved leaps and bounds since then, maybe he was having an off night against Parker, maybe he just trained like crazy for this one and beat Joshua fair and square.

I just want to see how he performs in a rematch or against another world class fighter first. I know he beats Wilder, but I think he loses to Fury, Usyk, maybe Parker again, maybe even Pulev. I don't see him lasting long as champ.

Ruiz has a granite chin that dissipates the power of punches into his rolls of fat. When he gets hit his stomach purrs like a kitten.

Ruiz is a fighter. A rare breed these days. Joshua is an athlete. He would do well in the natural body building contest. Although, he has tiny calves so maybe not.

Ruiz Jr wanted it more than AJ. Simple. Bigger engine and more talent.
