We all know that Mike always struggled when the other fighter fought back and wasn't intimidated.

Would Ruiz still fight the same way? He would be 4 inches taller and considered the big man. The difference in size between them would be the same between Ruiz and Joshua.

Would look like Tyson-Tubbs. Except it might end faster since Tubbs has faster hands and better defense than Ruiz.

Tyson would dismantle Ruiz Jr. Like a silver back against a human.

Imma going to go ahead and pick Tyson. I know, controversial pick, but that's my position.

I also pick Ali, Holmes, Louis, both Klitschkos, Foreman, Holyfield, Marciano and Dempsey over Ruiz.

    Come at me y'all.*

*hint, please don't make those threads.

Ruiz quick short reach of 74" leads to an impressive exchange. Ruiz feels comfortable on shorter distance firing short blows too.

Tysons chin will just withstand where Ruiz won´t. He looses these exchanges at some point among the first rounds.

Ruiz is a very good fighter but I dont see him being competitive with most ATGs, hes only really had 2 fights that were against good boxers and although his win over Joshua was impressive we all knew Joshua doesnt have a great chin so he would eventually get knocked out one of these days, I think Ruiz did beat parker by a decent bit too, what I'm trying to say anyways is that we need to see more of him cause hes still pretty new to the scene but shows great talent so far. Against Mike tho, c'mon man Tyson wins by knock out within 2 rounds

Did Tyson win in two rounds against Douglas and Holyfield? He launched an onslaught on them but they weathered the storm and fought back. They were not intimidated by him. Ruiz has good handspeed and is durable, which makes him better than most of Tyson's opponents.

    This might be true.
I´m not so sure about Ruiz durability. He looked fine vs Parker and that hook AJ cought him with got alot of mass behind it.

One things for sure, Ruiz got two quick hands with short punches that can crack. He should get his weight down for better mobility to fulfil max. potential.

Tubbs never beat anyone as good as Joshua.

Tony Tubbs beat a prime Greg Page, and a prime Bonecrusher Smith. Both of those men are arguably better than Anthony Joshua. Both of those men are DEFINITELY better than the disinterested version of Anthony Joshua who showed up last Saturday. Tubbs also gave a prime Tim Witherspoon and Prime Riddick Bowe all they could handle. Bowe and Witherspoon would stop any version of Joshua or Ruiz.

Lol Ruiz can crack? Ruiz is considered to be a light puncher for heavyweight standards. Because he knocked out china chin Anthony Joshua he is a big puncher now? More casual boxing fan logic. Also Ruiz throws short punches? He throws wild slapping arm punches.

In any case Tyson lost to Douglas because Douglas used his reach to jab away at Tyson. Evander Holyfield is 10 times the fighter Ruiz is. That is Tyson lost to him. Tyson would stop dough boy Ruiz in 1 round or 2.
