Is it pretty safe to say Joshua has not improved, and declined since the Klitschko fight? A fight he did really well in. I've watched him since with surprise that klitschko did lose to him.

Showed signs of improved ring IQ in the Parker and Povetkin fights. Obviously that was lacking in the Ruiz fight.

He has become more patient, and he lost the plot after his flash KD versus Ruiz. That said, he's going to be regarded as less threatening by opponents from this point forward, so he may need a plan B.

He has all sorts of technical flaws.
    1. He circled to Ruiz's right while dropping his left hand.
    2. The second knockdown happened because he backed straight up.
    3. Doesn't clinch.
    4. Doesn't keep things at range enough.
    5. Still waves his chin in the air after all this time.
    6. Usually attacks in straight lines and not from angles.

The list goes on. I think his team either sucks or he doesn't take training seriously enough,

Lol Anthony Joshua didn't look good against Wlad. Wlad was just old and timid and Joshua still didn't look impressive. Wlad didn't finish AJ because Wlad has a glass chin and didn't want to get hit. If he was more aggressive the whole fight he would of knocked out Joshua early.

Joshua looks shot already and he is only 29. Just like Riddick Bowe.

He has been fighting more scared since the Klitschko fight to be honest. Let's be real, he knows the reality of his jaw

Joshua has improved defensively ,but he brought the style in the Povetkin fight here, and thats a no, no with his left down trying to play slick boxer .

McCracken was pleading with him to keep the tight guard up and it cost him reaction time. He was also caught with a real good straight right at some point while thinking hooks were coming that shook him.

If he was going to fight off a back foot not sure why he weighed in 247,and not closer to a 240 range not 250 ,this makes a big difference for a counter puncher ?

He knows he could win ,otherwise he would be concerned ,theres a reason for that . lol

the rematch should look entirely different and if he can get a knockdown fighting so poorly against a very prepared Ruiz he knows what will be the outcome next one.

Wilder vs Joshua 2021 ,next stop ?

I was wondering what he was doing with that weird one arm down by his waist. Is this a imitation of the philly shell? He looks really awkward because he throws his jab from too far a distance. Joshua looked more effective early on his career, when he was lighter, and transitioned from jab to counter with the high guard. Needs to go back to his roots. He looked alot quicker when he fought Sprott and Skelton. Now he's just turned into a slow big stiff bodybuilder.

Joshua got too comfortable fighting in the UK where everything is in his favor. Joshua was supposed to have his debut in the U.S. against Wlad in their rematch, but Wlad decided to stay retired. Joshua’s footwork, defense, and timing all need work if he wants to reclaim his titles and go on to be a threat to both Wilder and Fury.

He was showed that style years ago by his first pro trainer Simms. He never actually used it ,bc it wasn't necessary to shoulder roll and so on. Its what ive been saying all along its idiocy to tamper with his set style as it would be and was M.Tysons.

Its why goof balls like Mayweather need to be quiet telling a HW champion he can show him defense and so on with shoulder rolling and fighting off back foot ( AJ IS one of the least hit HW's ) and put dumb B.s in his head along with all know it alls around giving an undefeated guy advice ... . lol

AJ IS a catch counter fighter ,that's it ,there's no need to perform magic tricks in the ring ,its to win.

AJ wasn't much lighter that's a myth he weighed around 245 on average really. He should be around that if he cant handle wars bc hes going to get hit back at times and if he struggles at a higher weight again its going to be the same result.

The root of the problem is whatever hes doing in training and going one to many rounds in sparring. PPl think hes always getting knock out but theres only one AJ vs a various sparring guys and hes going to the point of tiring out in the ring and getting banged up,this IS the trainers fault in that aspect ,so ? IDK.

Joshua was clearly not listening to instructions its on him as most fights lost are not the trainers fault in the ring ,he could have won this fight regardless of some amateur stuff leading up to this. in his training camp, don't know how McCracken gave the O.K to a Miami set up in the first place ,that was obvious a problem where Aj was more concerned about scouting the scenes there ? SMH

I‘m not trying to be a hater or anything like that but imo Joshua declined since the Klitschko fight.

He was a lot more enjoyable to watch in his previous fights like the Brazil fight, he looked lighter and had better handspeed and combinations.

His jab also declined since he developed that new weird style where he throws a lot of jabs to the body and leaves his hands too low.

Imo he got over-coached and needs to be more natural, Wilder could teach him a little bit, he even offered his help to him.

Which flash knockdown? Must’ve missed that one...I only saw the big left hook power shot which landed just behind the ear and scrambled his equilibrium - a flash knockdown that ain’t.

Aj is not one of the least hittable heavyweights. Nonsense.

    Ruiz just proved it.
40 year old POV proved it
Klitschko had a 37% connection rate against Joshua.

whereas Wlad only had 16% against fury. Wilder only had 17% against fury.

    HUGE difference
