Cash out fight because Ruiz will stop him quicker.

They know AJ is done, might as well get paid before the gullible British fan girls realize that he is a walking KO waiting to happen.

AJ stops him in the rematch

Everything went wrong after that “lucky punch” on the temple. He won’t make the same mistake.

This is going to be a tall task for Joshua. I hope he genuinely wants this.

As expected but damn, Hearn doesn't give a crap about AJ. For reals. He should not be getting back in with Ruiz asap.

Lol. Cash out fight. He thinks he can do him in the rematch that's pretty obvious.

I agree about what you are saying aside from that it wasnt a lucky punch.
Andy meant that shot and it completely altered the course of the fight.

I dont beleive AJ will be so careless in the rematch.

No other Matchroom fighter would get a title shot otherwise. It would be a consistent cycle of Ruiz, Wilder, Martin, Arreola, Ortiz and Kownacki fights. Even if a Matchroom fighter was a number 1 contender for years they wont get a title shot e.g. Whyte not being made mandatory.

The politics and business of boxing is what it is. If AJ took his time rebuilding, you know Ruiz being the honorable man he is will give him a rematch. I don't think they needed to exercise the clause. They're doing it right now ignoring what AJ needs, all for the money.

Nah AJ is a former unified champ with an excellent resume. He can’t be turning down rematches with Ruiz Jr if he wants to be taken seriously anymore.

The same casual fans who thought AJ would beat Ruiz easily are now acting like they knew Ruiz would beat him.
