Mexican style doesn't work well when your 6'5" and you're chin is up in the air. Neither does peekaboo, Tyson style. AJ needs to fight Lewis style or Wlad style. Get a boring UD and call it a day. If the KO comes take it but don't be brave and start trading. For goodness sake you'll 6'5" dont fight like your 5'11". He needs the Great Manny Steward in his corner, if he was still alive.
I think he actually should incorporate more movement. Joshua doesn't have the reflexes or flexibility of Lennox or Wladimir. Just because you're huge doesn't mean you can successfully employ that style. Joshua looked pretty good on the move I thought, though obviously he isn't trained to fight that way and was just trying to survive. But if he limited his range to a step or two, that would help with his lack of head movement and overall upper body flexibility. His balance is good. His days of scaring opponents by winging hooks are over, tho.
I guess Mexican style is something white American liberals came up with to act like all Mexican boxers are tough. Because we all know there are no tough, Black, European, Asians or any other group of people.
