It's over 5 months away even in theory. Joshuas contract with Sky is coming up soon and Joshua has dozens of endorsement deals literally dependent on him continually producing the goods. There was no way they were going to say "erm on reflection we've decided to boot McCracken, completely overhaul AJ's style to take into account his suspect chin oh and btw give him 18 months to build back up by knocking cans out in London".

There is absolutely no way on earth Joshua's mind has balanced and reflected enough from the biggest loss of his entire career in like what 3-4 days to enable him to make a decision as important as this.
