when i say Wlad approach, i meant more what he has adopted since that knockdown against him, and not a carbon copy replica either. Just that he is a very cautious boxer now
Thats what i was getting at His tweet says after meeting with AJ and trainer so to me that says they have agreed
A contract is a piece of paper, its not real life. It is not a guarantee of anything mate. You think Al is going to allow Ruiz Jr to come to the UK to have his pants pulled down?
its quite normal that the rematch goes the same way as the first fight ... AJ has looked poor and slow and lacking the power he once had since he cut down on PEDS ...Also he cannot deal with shorter guys Same result
So the whole "breaking America" thing is shelved then I suppose? Seeing as the rematch will be in the UK? You have to say, if Joshua had any balls he'd do the fight again in America. Kind of like when Conor Mcgregor lost a fight against a guy at welterweight in the ufc, instead of having the rematch at his actual weight, he demanded the condition where the same. AJ the big fanny!
It's not out of the realms of possibilities that the bodybuilder couldn't do what Parker did, by circling clockwise and flicking the jab out for 12 rounds. If I was Joshua I would be watching that fight every day. Ruiz couldn't sustain a attack because Joseph was always slightly to his left.
Do a Hughie Fury on Ruiz Jr. AJ's fans wont like that they tune in for the buzz of seeing someone getting savagely KO'd.
They'd already said his next fight would be back in Britain. I'm sure this would've changed if Wilder or Fury was to be next but we all knew that wasn't going to happen.
"Eddie Hearns says..." a whole lot of things. Guy is a master at feeding a narrative to the sky subscriber brains trust. Team AJ will not take this fight, Hearn is putting this spin out early to get ahead of whatever is coming next. ie the back and forth over venue which ultimately leads to AJ DUCKING the rematch. Except Hearn will spin the narrative that "they didn't want it in England koogs, so we'll fight delboy at the o2. and go from there"
Spot on. Basically, Hearn is probably spending all week running around all the various boards of directors of the sponsorships AJ gets seeing if they're happy with the approach you've just posited. If they are then that's what you'll see. Hearn knows he can still fill Wembley and 02 with the Nandos brigade against all the usual suspects. He will then use his good ol pal Kugan to put out the line that AJ is being ducked, again. There is no way on gods earth they are going to risk a neutral venue and officials in 5 months time and put the AJ myth to bed forever.
